This is a nice coat, plenty of room for layering, but not too large. It does seem to pooch out a little in the front, but otherwise it fits well. You won't need to order a size larger than normal. I like the length - it falls above my knee and it will keep my upper legs warm in the winter. The double zipper is a good feature - I like to be able to unzip it from the bottom an inch or two for driving. The two pockets don't snap close (the snap is only on the trim on the outside of the pocket) but they are deep enough that things won't fall out. Another hidden inside pocket would have been nice, but the two pockets should be enough for me. The sleeve openings are big enough to fit around mittens or gloves and have an inner cuff that is elastic but not too tight. The hood is roomy and has a drawstring to tighten it around your face when the wind is bitter. The red is a nice wine red. We are past the coldest part of the winter, so I couldn't judge if it was warm enough for single digits, but it keeps me warm on 20°F mornings.

This coat isn’t that heavy but it is good for keeping you warm at 40+ degrees F. I will probably wear a heavy sweater under it if it gets colder. The sleeves are a bit long and it’s pretty roomy for a medium. I might decide to exchange it for a small. I am 5’ 7” and weigh 135. Also I got the maroon color but it’s pretty dark. I would almost call it a dark brown. It seems to be made well.

Bought for my mother and she loves it. lightweight yet warm and covers your butt. Only problem for her is the zipper is long due to the length and she has trouble reaching and getting it started. But she is 93! It has snaps so keeping it closed is no problem. I would have bought one for myself except the hood does not come off.

Zips easily. Blocks wind and water. Surprisingly comfortable so i choose this to wear daily. Bought all three colors. XL.

This jacket fit exactly how I expected. I ordered a large and I am 5’5, about 150lbs. I can do a medium with most clothing but find it tighter than I like so I order large for everything. If you prefer a tighter fit then go that route. I was surprised at how great of quality this jacket is for only $40. It has double zippers too, so you can unzip the bottom portion of the jacket if needed. Only con is that it is a little crinkley sounding if you sit down in it but it doesn’t bother me.

I am 5 foot 3 1/2 and about 207 pounds. Extra large should’ve been a perfect size for me but I was swimming in it. So huge, especially the arms. It’s a a very basic-looking jacket and was not cut in a flattering way. I will return. Probably won’t try the size large because of the unflattering cut.
