I bought this specifically for the height and shape of the door because I am a large, tall person with bad knees, and my previous tent kept catching on my belt when climbing in and out. I spend about 30 days a summer camping for my job, and this tent solved the belt/door issue. Moreover, it's tall enough I could put on my pants in the morning without having to step outside. Pros: Height (about 60" inside), plenty of room for my cot, duffle bag, and camp chair, with room to move around. Also, easy to put up; took about 10 minutes. The storage bag is also big enough to stuff the tent back in when I'm done. The tent easily withstood sustained winds with 20-25 mph gusts. It's pretty lightweight for its size, and it packs down well. Cons: The fiberglass poles look and feel cheap. Although mine did not break (yet!), I do keep duct tape handy just in case. I think if it had been exposed to higher gusts this past week, those poles might have snapped. The tent floor feels and sounds like a cheap tarp. I always felt I had to apologize to my neighbors in the morning because of the crunch crunch sounds it made when I walked on it. Also, it rained for a couple of hours one morning and I found pools of water when I came back that evening. I don't know where the rain came in; I just know it did. The stupid logo prominently displayed across the front was a bit much, too. Lastly, that stupid little entry mat thing in front of the door was a real PITA. It doesn't have any stake loops or tie downs, so the wind kept blowing it in front of the tent. I finally gave up and folded it underneath, out of the way. I might either cut it off and do away with it altogether, or I might sew some loops on it for stakes. In all, it's not a horrible tent. If you need something roomy that's budget friendly for you or your family, it's a decent little tent. I didn't expect a whole lot for the cost. I'm happy enough with it that I'll continue to use it through this season, but I'll probably replace it by next summer, simply because of the noisy floor. I was surrounded this past week by a sea of 500 tents, and no one else went crunch crunch crunch when they walked around! ... show more

So first off I didn't use they rain fly at all even at night because it was 100+ during day and 90+ at night. Also that being said didn't get to test out if I'd drown in this thing during a rainstorm so since i could not verify those capabilities i can not give a perfect 5 stars. Onto the review. So this was just for me and my wife. We have another 4p tent that is more expensive however it is smaller for hiking, and I am just getting my wife into camping so I want her comfy. That was the main reason for this purchase. This tent when set up is very roomy as you can see in my pick with the mattress in it, I fit 2 of those no problem with our gear and probably could have done another 2 beds. Some tents say 4ppl but are more like 3person at most. This doesn't have that problem unless you have 4 dudes my size or bigger in this thing, I'm 5'11 265lbs. Anyway the poles were easy to fit together and surprisingly the stakes felt better quality than the ones I got with my more expensive brand. Setup was a breeze, it can be done with 1 person but it would be a pain in the arse so I recommend 2 ppl set up and it'll take 7-10 min after you get everything out of the bag to set up. Had good airflow and the door was plenty big along with the windows. There were no lose threads and the material seemed pretty good and the tub floors were solid. I was overall very surprised by this tent and am looking forward to testing it in the rain when I get a chance. I can not at this point recommend it for rain or wind as I was not able to verify its capabilities in those scenarios but I can definitely recommend for Spring time, summer, or backyard camping. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this tent for an unplanned camping trip on cape cod. I was looking for an affordable tent that I wouldn't worry mif it didn't survive. I was a long way from home where I have a couple of awesome tents already. I have to say I will probably pack this one up and keep it in my car for my travel. This tent was a breeze to put up solo. I had no trouble guiding the poles through the short sleeves, getting one side up and then the other. Once I found the front of the fly it was up and staked in about ten minutes . There is plenty of air that comes though the two large mesh panels , the door panel window and the back panel window. I can't speak to the little window thing on the back side floor level. This tent fit a full size double tall air mattress. I would recommend filling it inside the tent if you go that big with an airmatress. I had some trouble shoving it through the door lol. What I can speak to is this tent survived a 24 hour rain storm that flooded the camp grounds winds, thunder,lightning mud and alot of rain! I was really worried that this tent would flood. I was surprised and impressed that it took on no water inside at all. The fly repeled the rain and I had a dry night of sleep. It withstood and never budged. The door mat that is attached is a pain. It was always flooded with rain and mud. I could tip it but it would never completely drain. I bought a cheap bath mat and put it inside to help with the tracking despite leaving shoes out side with this storm is was impossible not to have muddy feet. It was really a fun time in all seriousness. I love tenting despite the elements and this tent survived. It does not come with the mesh ceiling panel for storage. I am seriously impressed with this tent. The first night I was pummeled with a torrential downpour: lightning, thunder, gusts up to 25-30 mph on the shores of a lake. Not only was I dry inside the next morning, but the tent appeared to have hardly suffered. I did place the tent on a a sturdy tarp. The tent is lightweight yet excellent construction. Very sturdy thanks to way the rainfly and main body are detailed. Good ventilation and pockets for gathering stuff. The zippers could be a bit more heavy duty - they have a tendency to snag if you are not careful. There is a detail at the top of the canopy that supposedly is for suspending a small cargo net, but that cargo net was nowhere in the package. Normally I would detract a star for this, because it is shown in the images for the elements included, but I think this is a small issue compared to the fact that the tent was pitched for two weeks straight by the side of a lake and was subject to multiple storm cells and high winds and didn't leak, lose its structure or budge an inch. The proof is in the pudding. Thinking of getting another as a "guest" tent. One thing I note: this is not a spring pop-up tent, so at least for the first time it is good to have a second pair of hands to assist the setup. ... show more

This was honestly a very easy set up. Took my brother and I all of 10 min to completely set up the tent. It was pouring rain out for the entire camping trip and this tent amazed us, no leaks, no water, and the little lip at the entrance really helped us keep the tent floor dry. I used this to camp at 2 State Parks this past week. It's great for maybe 2 people and their bags, or maybe 4 people if nothing else was in the tent. I solo camped with my small dog and it was the perfect size for us. The tent is very lightweight and extremely easy to set up by 1 person. We only used the rain fly for 1 night due to some weather. It kept us dry, but it definitely retains heat with the rain fly up. My only complaints are that the mesh isn't very breathable and that it camp with a small in one of the mesh walls. It's an easy set up. And the only way you're fitting 4 people in there is side by side with no bags in the tent. There a "hole" with a screen at the back wall of the tent that makes it hard to keep warm in there. After I sprayed it with water proof sealant then it worked.
