I couldn't be happier with this purchase! This coat has exceeded my expectations. I read the reviews before purchasing it and most reviews were very positive but until I actually wore the coat for several weeks in rain, snow and extreme cold, I wasn't completely convinced as to how great it is. In the past, I have bought winter coats more for style than anything. This winter I wanted a durable long lasting coat that would be great for all kinds of winter weather. It's first test came this past November in a light rain. No problem. The outer layer keeps you completely protected. I didn't sense or feel any moisture penetrate to the inside of the coat and it probably would be the same in an absolute downpour but I can't verify that. Fast forward 8 weeks and the Midwest got it's first shot of Artic air with temps dropping down to single digits and negative wind chills. This coat handled all of it like a pro. I felt warm on all occasions. The wind at times was 25mph and it completely seals that out like a pro. Yes I did have a sweater on underneath most days but I did wear this with a short sleeve shirt one day underneath to test it and it was warm on the inside. The outer layer technology truly is amazing. The inner layer doesn't seem too thick and the "fake fur" lining or whatever is the last layer next to your body is super soft and comfortable. In conclusion, I can't rate this coat high enough. Whether you are skiing or just using it for everyday winter weather for 3 or more months including rainy days, you are sure to love this coat. I do have one small negative but I understand it. The outer layer of the coat is the key to it's greatness but it does have a "crinkly" to it due to what it is made of. This is NOT a completely QUIET coat if that matters to you. When you walk, it will make a slight "crinkly" sound and when you move when sitting down but it's nothing major at all. Some winter coats have more of a "swisher" type sound but I would describe this as "crinkly". This is a must buy at $50.00 or so. A very practical and warm winter coat that is not overly stylish but still looks decent and will keep you warm and dry. This is a "Amazon Choice" for a reason.

Look, I'll save the yapping. This coat is great. Weight is great. Keeps you warm in the cold, but somehow breathes in fall weather. 3 outside pockets, one inside. Water doesn't even get a chance to soak in, drips right off. Buy. It.

This jacket fits perfectly. For the 3X, it ried it on. I was concerned wit hthe sleeves being longer than the coat, but they have thumb holes! That meaks in my gloves I'll be even warmer. This is the best purchase I've made in some time. Warm, waterproof, and comfortable. Velcro is kinda cheap, and needed stronger stitching. Was falling apart on the very first use.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I had to for this jacket. I’m genuinely shocked that it’s not more expensive for the quality of product you get. I wore it in below freezing temps and actually had to take it off because I was hot! It blocks any and all wind, feels amazingly soft inside, keeps you incredibly warm, and is overall incredibly comfortable. The size is a perfect fit as well. I truthfully and genuinely cannot recommend this jacket enough. I have absolutely zero complaints. If you’re on the fence about this jacket, buy it.

I am inbetween sizes 2 x and 3 x and opted for the 3 x, I made a great choice as think the 2 x would do fine, but I need the extra arm length. Loaded with pockets, and I like the small outer one for my transit pass. Just the right length. Really nice interior warming. Detachable hood (I hate hoods). great color. Have worn it today in a Chicago light snow and absolutely warm (have a layer underneath). This is such a bargain I may to order another one in the Gray/blue to have as a backup!!!!!

I bought this for my son. It fit him beautifully, the zipper is easy for him to use, and after wearing it a few times, it's become much easier to move about it (It was a bit stiff at first) It looks great, fits well, and we are very happy with our purchase.
