This compact video camera is the bees knees! It has such clear pictures and videos and we love taking videos with it. The night vision is SO cool and it's something I've never had on a camera before. The night vision is very clear, too, especially upon playback. It's lightweight but not cheaply made...you can tell this is a quality item. I'm so happy I went with this camera and so are my kids. Not sure if the camera I received was defective or not, the below comments reflect our experience. The audio was not always part of the video, parts of it would be missing. When the zoom was out, the picture was “viewable”, but never 4k or 1080p quality. When you zoom in, the picture becomes blurry, and subjects become unidentifiable. Regardless of the zoom setting, the picture was always jumpy. We mounted the camera to a monopod and still had poor results. When I asked to return the item, a Promo Discount Deduction $29.97 was removed from the original refundable total of 135.96 and I was refunded a total of 105.99. I'm not sure I understand the deduction, but I had open the box and used the camera. ... show more

Quality was decent, the sound quality was awful even with the mic. Would not recommend buying this if your gonna record with your voice, sounds, or any type of noise. If your going to buy this I suggest you only record, don’t record any sounds.
