My old wench gave up the ghost after several years of use. I purchased this one as a replacement for my boat trailer for a 17 foot bass tracker. I was amazed at the difference in the old one and this one. Cranking my boat up on the trailer was almost effortless. Would highly recommend.

This a very solid winch. I have no idea why, but new boat trailers rarely come with heavy enough of winches. Don't mess with a cheap, weak winch. Toss the wimpy one and upgrade. Or you might end up at the boat ramp with stripped winch gears like me.

Good price and is easy to put on. The metal does bend easily if you install it incorrectly. but otherwise, its working well for me. Doesn't have a quick release, you have to unwind to let the boot off the trailer.

Oversized for my boat but worth it!

Dual gears and large grip on handle make this winch easy to use. Larger than original equipment but well worth the upgrade. Strap hook is larger which I needed for eyelet is welded on bow. Other replacement strap hooks have been too small. I had to bend handle to clear roller (extra long) but it was
easy to do and now easy to pull boat up on trailer. Affordable price makes this a perfect fit for my use. Would purchase again if need be, highly doubtful since construction should last a long time.
