Description

Camco's Magnetic RV Bumper Cap allows you to easily remove your sewer hose from your RV's bumper. The bayonet end of your sewer hose locks onto the cap, which pulls out the sewer hose when you remove it and also stops the hose from sliding around in the bumper. It features high-strength neodymium magnets that keep the bumper cap in place; small vent holes provide airflow and double as an insect screen. The magnetic bumper cap is compatible with most metal 4-inch square bumpers and the lugs are compatible with any Camco bayonet-style sewer hose fitting. Includes a bonus no-insect bumper cap.

I purchased these after finding out that the aluminum ones that clamp on didn't fit my 2023 Coachman. These fit well and the magnet seems very strong. I drove about a 100 miles to try them out and they were very secure. Strong magnet on the cap which attaches to the stinky slinky. The other cap is only a press fit. That was a disappointment to me but overall I am quite satisfied.

The magnet to me is a little weak as it is is only attaching to thin walls of the bumper. It appears to be attached good enough while sitting, but I have not gotten to test it in motion. My thoughts is if it were not for the attachment for the sewer hose that is attached, this may fall off with a good pot hole or something. We will see. I do like the attachment for the hose. I do not have to fish out the hose from the bumper if it goes too far inside ... show more

Makes it easier pull sewer hose from trailer bumper. Sometimes it was hard to pull the cap from the bumper but the magnets make it easier but it still holds on tight during drives.

We love these! No fishing into the bumper to pull out the sewer hose - connect one end of the sewer hose to the magnetic cap, and when we pull out the cap, the hose promptly comes along with it, ready to re-connect to the camper's drains. When we first used them, it felt like the magnetic end might not stay in place, but we soon realized that it was a matter of making sure the sewer hose isn't kinked, and that it compresses when you put it into the camper bumper for storage. Have driven all over the place with it, bumpy roads and last-minute turns, and it has stayed put! We also love that air can circulate to finish letting the sewer hose are out (and dissipate any lingering aromas that remain, even after rinsing), AND it keeps out the bugs. Perfect in every way!
