I'm not sure if these are actually calming or not. The pup is 8 months old, and honestly there's just not a lot that will calm her down, wear her out, or make her anything less that 10000% excited about life every moment of every day. However, I will say that she loves these treats a lot and would eat the whole jar if I wasn't watching. I mainly use these as a reward for training or as a reward for crating when she's supposed to. (I hate crating, though, and have started taking her to Doggy Day Care most days instead...which she loves.) Will buy these again. The GKD Calming Dog Treats - Anxiety Relief Treats - Treats Contain Absolutely No Sugar, Relaxing were received just as I was dogsitting, so I let mine and a neighbor dog try them out. I received no feedback on the taste from them, and I did not taste them myself, but both dogs ate them and asked for more. While I gave them the chews when none were in emotional stress, all both dogs were asleep within the half hour so I MUST assume these products worked as advertised and intended. There are a lot of dog vitamins and supplements on the market nowadays and this brand is at on my list to fulfill my dog's calming needs. ... show more

Our very active dog just loves these treats and so do we. We give the recommended dose to our dog and he settles down. He seems to love the taste and never turns them down when offered to him.

Our dog has separation issues, so we ordered these GKD Dog Anxiety Relief, Chews for Large Dogs. They seem to work well for her. She was whimpering today and we decided to give her one of these chewables, which worked. The chewables really calmed her down.

Our Dachshunds look forward to having these every night and start barking when it gets to be near the time for gummies. Not sure but I think they seem calmer and more relaxed after they have them.

My dog is super-reactive, so we try as many different calming chews as we are able to get our hands on. These worked well, she didn't react to the thunder as bad as she normally does. They definitely got the job done.

My dogs love the taste of these hemp chews. I use them during fireworks and thunder storms and they do seem to chill the pups out.
