Callaway makes Edge for Costco, no factory warranty unless returned through Costco. Since this was purchased through Amazon, Callaway Golf can’t assist with factory warranty claim either. Callaway Golf representative was surprised I purchased this off Amazon. Response from seller, "Hello, the customer ordered this order in August, and it is now January 3rd. This is the customer's own broken one. It has been four months, and it has nothing to do with my product. This is a great starter set. I can highly recommend it. It has everything you need to get going. I played with it for over a year before getting myself a set of Callaway Mavericks. I can hardly notice the difference. Especially if you don't need to win a green jacket!

1st set I purchased the drive got a dent from 200yd drive (no miss hit). Second set and the 7 iron broken on another good hit. Seems Callaway have cheaped out on QA or build. Clubs look great and play decent but they just don't stand the test of time. Both sets were owned for only 2-3 weeks.

These have traditionally been sold direct from Costco at $499 with recent price increase to $549. The main issue with Costco is availability, locations, and membership. They are a great set at even the newer $549 Costco price, but once you start going higher you may want to consider the Cobra line or higher end Tour Edge sets that come with more clubs and sometimes a bag. Very forgiving for beginner and you get a great putter. My set marked as Assembled in Vietnam; assembly and packaging all seem very well done compared to some other starter sets. ... show more
