This reprint of the US Constitution is very well edited and annotated. The full original text is reproduced as written. There are no editorial comments or discussions. Original text that has been amended is enclosed in brackets, with a footnote to reference the amendment. The preamble to the Bill of Rights and the full text of all 27 amendments are included. The full text of the Declaration of Independence is included. The dimensions (3.25" x 6.5") make this a true "pocket guide". I recommend buying multiple copies of this pamphlet to give to family and friends, as I have done. Every American should be intimately familiar with these documents. Apparently, Amazon lumps together the reviews written for various print versions of the US Constitution. All print versions are not equal and many of the Amazon reviews do not apply to the print version I reviewed. The print version I reviewed has a painting of George Washington, quill pen in hand, on the front cover. It is copyrighted by the National Center for Constitutional Studies.     • awesome and accurate
I read reviews where it said this pamphlet was biased, which concerned me. after reading it over from cover to cover I am absolutely blown away how anyone can interpret this as biased!?!! I understand liberals have perverted the constitution which has lead people to believe that is how the constitution is, example of this is people misunderstanding the word “well regulated“ in the 2nd amend. liberals say it means government control but really in the 1700s the wording well regulated well practiced not government controlled. I keep this in my patrol binder at work to give to Sgt when he tells me I’m supposed to arrest somebody for walking around during this virus. “show me where the Constitution allows the suspension of liberties because of a virus” I plan on buying many more as soon as I show my fellow partners ... show more

    • Inexpensive and accurate, but also scuffed and preachy
5 stars for being inexpensive and the true text of the Constitution. -1 stars because my copy was very scuffed on the front. -2 stars because they don't tell you that they are selling you a little something extra that you never asked for: the first pages contain cherry-picked founding fathers' quotes about religion and morality, which I found a bit intrusive. Call me crazy, but when I buy a "pocket Constitution," that's all I want. ... show more

An awful lot of people claim that this or that "is unConstitutional!!!". Recently, there have been folks who insist that community or state orders to wear facemasks or shelter in place are against the Constitution. I bought this copy of The Constitution of the United States for all of 99 cents, so as to have a copy I could carry in a pocket. I have gone through it, article by article, paragraph by paragraph, but can't seem to find the parts about masks anywhere. The closest thing to "no sheltering in place" is Article III of the Amendments, which states that says the government cannot quarter soldiers in civilians' houses without their consent during peacetime-- not at all the same thing. Do you see why it's useful to have a copy? When confronted with "That's against my Constitutional rights!" you can offer the copy and ask them to show you just which rights they're talking about. There is one real concern regarding the pamphlet. The people publishing it-- the National Center for Constitutional Studies-- have been identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a fringe Mormon group specializing in a sort of revisionist American history. They believe that not merely was God actively involved in the founding of the nation (and the carefully chosen quotations from the Founding Fathers emphasize this), but that the federal government has essentially usurped power belonging to the states, and needs to be broken up. However, since the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Amendments are all printed word-for-word, it's easy to ignore the publishers in favor of what they've published. It may well be the case that we shall see Constitutional issues raised following the 2020 election. If so, then having a copy may well be to your benefit as well. Highly recommended for the content and price, although the publisher remains problematic. ... show more

I bought this since was small handy to put in a day pack to read when waiting for doctors or transportation . I read The Constitution of the United States, years back . With today's political corruption what went on with the Fake Collusion investigation on Trump the miss handling of the Clinton email probe the always hateful Left I thought be a good idea to know it since I can honestly say at least 4 Freshman congress members have broken laws in The Constitution of the United States since being E#elected .
