Have always used waterproof bags (though they’re more expensive than regular bags but always Titleist StaDry in the past) because it’s ALWAYS raining here in the Northeast but after getting the Callaway Epic Flash driver a few years back, I wanted to match it with the Callaway “waterproof” bag. BIG MISTAKE as I’m now on my 3rd “waterproof” bag from Callaway and now experiencing my 3rd Callaway bag failing once again!!! The first one encountered the same problem as this one where the zipper area sprung a leak. Callaway warranty, which by the way was a pleasure to work with, replaced it right away with a newer model “waterproof” bag free of charge. Though no one can tell between last gen and current gen in golf bags, the time wasted in packing and taking a trip to UPS was an ok trade-off in getting a newer version bag, I thought. The second bag was all good until after using it for about a year started developing the “splits”. Old stand bags in the past used to have legs that would sometimes give out eventually, but that usually happens after a few years usage, and golf equipment companies have now reinforced the leg molding part to the point where it’s not a commonplace occurrence anymore. Considering that this is an over $300 bag and only been used for about a year, I again called Callaway warranty dept to inquire about a fix or replacement. After talking with warranty dept, I was told that it was off warranty already and the best that they can do this time would be to charge me 50% of full retail price and to send back this bag with the damaged legs. As with bags in the past always running into the legs giving out eventually and thinking it’s more a regular wear and tear problem (a little too fast in this case though) I went ahead and paid the 50% and sent to them this bag and was sent a 3rd “waterproof” bag. Bag in the pics is the one I got this time. Been about a year and a half now and legs are holding out good but the, in their words, Fully Seam Sealed Zippers are again failing. Not just in the front pocket where there’s a BIG hole now, but also in other areas where Callaway basically “taped”’the Seam Sealed Zippers on. At a loss for words now as this has just been a horrible experience with Callaway “waterproof” bags. As this bag is of course failing again AFTER the one year warranty, calling their warranty dept and going through all this again to maybe get another bag at 50% off, the bag would still cost more than $150. And who’s to say that even after another one at 50% off, that these problems won’t arise again right after warranty expires? All in all, just going to chalk it up as a loss and look at it as a learning experience about using Callaway golf bags. Will be looking into getting back into another Titleist StaDry bag, which the previous one served me for like 4-5 years with NO PROBLEMS, and only had to retire because it started showing its age. ... show more

Best gift for my golf enthused husband. I was worried it was too small. But he loved the compact bag. He likes to walk the course for extra exercise and this bag is perfect and light weight enough. It also has great zip compartments for storage. He loves his bag. Great shipping.
