I purchased this and a down alt duvet insert today and they arrived today. I did the same thing for each and It was EXTREMELY flat due to the vacuum sealed packaging. Instructions advise to not touch and let it fluff up over 24 hours, I just don’t have that kind of patience and honestly it’s better if you do it yourself. DO NOT immediately toss it in the dryer on air fluff, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Fluff each square by hand. One hand on top, one hand on bottom fluff and break up the polyester inside. Yes it hurts but it’s worth it, trust me! Shake it out. “Wave” it, like when you’re putting a blanket on the bed, a few times from each side THEN toss in the dryer on air/cool/air fluff for 20 minutes. Reposition and put it back in for another 20 minutes. Use some dryer balls if you have those too. Trust me! ... show more

Ordered a queen and fit my 12" just fine. Very soft. Fluffed up in dryer and put on. Let sit for less than a day and slept on. Was comfy and provided a nice barrier from my mattress as opposed to just a protective cover. Did not wash it so can't say anything about that...if it bunches up ...hoping I won't have to, if I can keep my kids from hogging my bed! No bad smells, came in a vacuum sealed bag. Would order again for the price. Smells better than memory foam! ... show more

Thin. I'm not returning it is because it's too much of a pain in the butt to get it squished in a box. Not worth the 40 bucks I paid as in thickness. It looks nice though. Feel is comforting but I needed thicker for my back.

I ordered the king size pad. It is well made, plush, deep pocket. If there is a negative, it would be that it's so nice your sheets may not be deep enough to cover the pad and mattress.
