(This is a horrible picture and wasn’t taken to show the bed but it’s the only pic I had.) I like that it’s 18” above the floor. My dog loves sleeping under it. Plenty of room for storage. Bed is easy to put together. Plan on about 30 minutes. It’s sturdy. It’s definitely okay to rock n’ roll on it 😜 It says you do not need a box spring but I would not set a mattress across the slats as they are. As they are just poles and they are too far apart, in my opinion.

We are moving soon, so are waiting to assemble. However, it did arrive a day earlier than expected and we did verify that all pieces were in the box, well-protected and in great condition.

This bed was very easy to put together, it took me about an hour or less to assemble it on my own. It's only squeak free as long as the screws are fully tightened. Definitely a great value for the money. I love how high up it is.

I was not certain about this bed at first. It was a little tedious to put together and came with some scratches from poor packaging. However, the scratched were small and not really noticable once it was put together. Once I got it all put together, I discovered that because my mattress is pretty thick/deep, it ended up being much higher than I had hoped. Initially, I thought about returning it because I have to hop into it, it's that high lol, but as the week went on I really began to love it. It fit all my totes underneath, which is fantastic. I recently downsized to a 1 bedroom apartment and it gave me a place to store them out of sight. I added a bedskirt and the height didn't look so strange afterwards. I have not experienced any creaking and it feels very stable. I'm very pleased.

Overall, I love the bed..very high, as I'm just 4 foot 8 in a half. I can still get on and off the bed. I have a 10 inch mattress and it's not too high or low. Firm mattress, so I won't have to worry about sinking in. I did get bed holders so the mattress will not slide from the sides. I only needed 4. The bedframe is sturdy, and I love how I can decorate the bedframe with lights or ivy garland around. The delivery was screwed. Oddly strange? It looked like it came from a person who has used the bedframe. It was wrapped up in a duct tape box. Instead of amazon, it was shipped through ups. It was also late delivery. Some poles were rattling inside, some were sealed up in plastic. Assembly was somewhat odd with confusing step by step in tiny pockets of screws. I was confused. It was not like all screws goes to one frame. It was with steps. I thought it was strange. Overall, it's a nice bed with extra storage. I got a full bedframe, and it has a lot of room underneath for my small bedroom. Love the vintage look. I just wished it was shipped in a nicer box rather than duct tape. It smelled of duct tape in the rain. Weird thing for a package. I did struggle a bit with step 2 and 3 for the headboard and footboard. I did it by myself and you may need someone else to hold the frame so you can utilize the 2 pieces of 12 and 13 and blindly connect the screw. It took about 2 hours. Where I needed a couple of breaks for each side. Otherwise, good frame overall. It's nice and heavy, sturdy. And no squeaks. If give it 2 stars for delivery package wrapped in duct tape, 3 stars for assembly, 4 stars for putting it together, 5 overall for nice once it's built.

The media could not be loaded. This bed is the best! Super tall and easy as can be to put together! I have a thick mattress and because of that it’s a heck of a time making the bed. But I’ll suffer thru it once a week! It’s pretty cool. Also with the thick mattress u can’t really see the headboard, but I have pillows so it doesn’t matter, I really needed it for the underneath storage I also removed the fabric off my box spring to put on top of the metal slats to protect the bottom of my mattress from getting scratched up by cats or whatever. I’ll probably get a bed skirt to hide the storage underneath but I’ll have to use Velcro to attach it since there’s no way to add one w/o cutting it to get it on. A few area were scratched but not worth complaining since a shot of spray paint would work but when it’s all said and do t u don’t see it. If u have a basic mattress that’s thinner (recommended) it may show, so there’s that info.
