I’m particular about my bedding. Over the years I’ve found a set of sheets i liked once or twice and one set at a time. Most sheet sets i look at have nylon or rayon, or some other man made fiber. I was looking for a set of all (or mostly all) cotton, a nice thread count, and a good hand to them. I was doubtful when i saw this set but it said 100% cotton. I took them out of the packaging right away when they arrived. I looked all over to see if it said anything besides cotton. It clearly says 100%cotton. I laundered them and the next time i changed sheets (every other day..i did I’m particular!) I put the new set on. There are tags that indicates top/bottom and i so appreciate that as we have a king size bed and I always have to figure out which are the sides and which are the top/bottom. The elastic seems to be of good quality, although i do wish it could be a bit wider. The top sheet is perfect! It’s long enough and wide enough to tuck in and to cover both people sleeping in the bed. I’ve had a few sheets that were not wide enough, but not these! The texture and weight of the sheets (the hand) are great. Perfect for year round use, not too heavy or too light. My husband is cold at night even though we have a down comfortor and a quilt on the bed, while i am always hot. These sheets breathe so we’re both comfortable. I liked the first set so much that i bought a 2nd set!

As consumers how are we to know when a seller tells us that their product is made of a certain material? Shoppers are learning that when a furniture manufacture says real wood that can easily mean that what was used to grind the sawdust for so-called MDF product originated from a tree. And who hasn’t bought a stainless steel item for their kitchen only to find out the fact that they only mean it only looks like stainless steel? And most famous of all is the word leather which these days almost always means a manmade product made of ground up recycled leather with such names as pleather or “bonded”. I’ve been learning that 100% cotton doesn’t mean that it is completely made of fibers from a cotton bush and nothing else, even though we are asked to pay a king’s ransom for some brands of sheets. To me these feel nice but maybe a little too smooth and shiny compared to what I grew up with or what some of the better hotels use as all-cotton sheets. I like my sheets to feel like cloth, which means they have at least some weave texture. These are really good and I can see why they are so popular and I have to weigh the price, which though higher than most people will ever spend on a sheet is still far lower than a similar sheet will cost is a department store or even at the membership club. Regarding the weight of the sheets, what is also described as the thickness, these are both heavy and thick. One easy way to compare brands is just look at the product weight in the description, these are a full pound heavier than another best selling brand of cotton sheets. And that’s not due to how they are wrapped-up, this company uses minimalistic materials and no wasteful plastic bag that will be thrown out anyway and not be biodegradable. Maybe they do go a little overboard patting themselves on the back how responsible they are but it seems they do walk the talk. I can’t write a fair review without mentioning the question of wrinkles. The simple short answer is if you dislike wrinkles so much you shouldn’t be considering all-cotton sheets, a truly non-wrinkle cotton sheet simply does not exist. And if you insist on buying these please don’t write about how you don’t like that they wrinkle – the seller describes that very clearly in their information column that these WILL wrinkle and the best you can do is remove them immediately from the dryer and if it really bothers you spend an hour ironing them. I’m not going to do that, I don’t care if my sheets look a little lived in, I’m not sure I could sleep if they were perfectly smooth and I had to worry about messing them up. I can put up with some wrinkling, that’s why I buy cotton sheets. There are some things I can’t live (okay sleep) with and one of them is when my fitted sheet pulls out and by morning it’s wrapped all over me. These have a stronger than average elastic band that runs all the way around the bottom sheet and tucks deeply under the mattress. No matter how active I am in bed they haven’t pulled out yet. I also like that the top sheet is long from head to foot so it too can be tucked in deep. A short sheet is one of the first signs of a cheap sheet. At the price I think I would prefer that the pillowcases have that envelope flap that tucks in to cover the end of the pillow. It’s not a big deal to me but it’s what I’m used to. When I decided to give up sheets made of plastic materials and look for all cotton ones I didn’t realize how difficult that process would be. When I decided on these they had the most reviews by far, mostly positive. I add mine to that because I think they are worth it.

*update: after a few nights of sleeping on them, it is no longer scratchy. They still wrinkle, but they are breathable and comfy after a couple washes and wears. Unfortunately, textile quality has decreased while prices have increased. These do not roll up on my memory foam mattress (12 inches). However, they make a slight crinkle noise and most importantly; these sheets are scratchy. It gives the feeling of prickles casually brushing against the skin. They felt soft to the touch with my finger before and after the first wash, but laying down in these is not comfortable. They do wrinkle, but I’m not concerned about the aesthetics as much as the feel. For reference I purchased the Seafoam in the Queen size. The photo is in natural light for the color reference. Also, make sure to wash before first use. They do come with a smell while unpacking.

Shopped around for sheets and found Cosy "luxury" sheets that were supposedly a bamboo blend. Worst ever quality and "hassle free returns" was an outright lie. Customer service was belligerent when they finally did respond. Had to eat $150... Back to the search... Compared these with 1000 count sheets and the description plus reviews sounded like what we were looking for... Bought 2 sets and could not be happier. Absolutely as comfortable as any sheets any where we have ever slept on. My wife wants to buy more in case they are unavailable or change for some reason. We will never buy another brand. Yes, they wrinkle, they are sheets. This is the one.

They are nice-looking, good quality cotton sheets. They are much more comfortable than the cheap microfiber stuff that seems to be everywhere now. While they are cotton, they are “600” cotton which means there aren’t that many threads per inch (so they are comfy sheets, but I wouldn’t describe them as luxurious). That being said, they are an upgrade from some other sheets that I’ve purchased recently. If you want a nice, comfy bed, these will get you there at a good price!

This 600 thread count fitted sheet is not too thick and not too thin, it is just right. It is soft and feels great to sleep on. Most important to me is that is appears that it will last a long time too. I had to get a new bottom sheet since with the sheet sets (that are 680 thread count from a large discount membership store) the bottom sheet from each set ripped. I also find this fitted sheet feels more luxurious! A few years ago I bought the lighter weight 400 thread count sheet set from California Design Den and I love those sheets for the summer months.
