Nice unit but much louder than the 2 HP CA units I have but 75 DB is not that bad. Got the auto water drain, great to have but it’s much louder than 75 DB and goes off as factory set every 2 minutes.

This replaced an old 2HP compressor in my shop. This builds pressure super quick, is super quiet and is working flawlessly so far. I have it hooked up to an IR Air Dryer and I run both drain valves into pneumatic sintered silencers and into a gallon jug to catch the bleed off since I don't want to route it outside for my neighbors to hear. Limited maintenance needed. Works well for us in small lab/workshop space. Plenty of capacity. Not as loud as traditional upright compressors. Highly suggest you get the auto drain feature. Works well to keep the moisture out of your equipment. Easy to move around if needed

So far great.. after a couple of months of pretty good use, this thing is great. I did have a problem is the auto drain value failing, CAT sent me a replacement, quickly, easily, with no hassle... fix the problem.. I’m pretty high on this compressor.
