I recently acquired the "CAHAYA Dual-use Tripod Microphone Stand" and had a mix of experiences. It’s worth noting both the highs and lows to give potential buyers a full picture. Pros: The overall sturdiness and stability of the mic stand, once properly set up, are commendable. It holds the microphone well and seems like it can withstand regular use without issue. The portability and included carrying bag add a level of convenience for musicians or speakers on the go. This makes it an excellent option for those who need a reliable stand that can travel with them. Cons: The quality of the materials is passable, but my stand arrived with a defective part. The upper arm lacked the necessary threads to screw in the vertical part of the stand. This required manual intervention, which was both unexpected and time-consuming. Using it for guitar hero lol. It wasn’t pricey. Good value for the money. Could see using it for a normal mic if I needed it for like talking into it for recordings. Adjustments pretty wide range quickly for sitting or standing. And 2 holders. One a clip that will break easily I’m sure. Feels like I got an open box. The box itself was pretty bashed up but the box came in a thin little bag so maybe it got crushed in shipping. Unfortunately in addition to the box being bashed looking, while all individual elements of the mic stand were in bubble wrap, The first pole was dented a bit at the connection point (picture included) so I couldn’t screw the two pieces together. I used pliers to bend it back, thank goodness that works. Aside from those initial unfortunate events, the mic stand is extremely sturdy, I’m shocked at how sturdy it is for how little the legs are And that it uses that circular tightening mechanism rather than a a little arm to give you more leverage and torque like my older mic stand. Everything about this feels much more sturdy and more professional than my previous mic stand. I am using the clip attachment for the microphone, it is gripping and NTG-2 fine. I wouldn’t be upset if it was a little more tight but it’s holding on, I am not worried about the mic falling. And it comes with a travel bag! Nifty! (The mic stand has to be broken down into its separate attachable poles to fit which means extra work when packing and setting up each time but that’s all right. I bought this hoping to use it with my iPad holder for gigs. Turns out the threads where the holder attach are non-standard size and my holder won’t fit. Unhappy because this was very compact and light compared to the old-school tripod mic stand I am currently using.

For the $25 price I was a little bit skeptical, but I am not disappointed. It is very adjustable, that's why there are so many knobs to set angle and adjust height. Adjust from a tall speaker standing to a person seated in a chair. It telescopes into a small package, and comes with a heavy duty nylon carry bag with hook and loop closure and a loop handle. It comes with two sizes of microphone clip, both adjustable. One is flexible plastic to accommodate different diameters, and a spring-loaded "clothes pin" style with a wide size range. The tubes that telescope within one another do not have a mechanical stop, so they will pop apart. But, they are easy to put back together.
