I really wanted to like the Caddy Trek R3x, but after playing several rounds of golf with it I found it had some real positives and real negatives. The Good It is well made, with solid construction, but light enough to lift into my car fairly easily. It folds very compactly. The battery is great... no problems there with charging or battery life. The remote control works great; when operating the pushcart using remote control I had no issues and it works very well, and in fact that is the mode that I use now (not the follow or march mode). The Bad I bought this pushcart because of the follow mode, thinking I wouldn't have to bother using a remote control to guide it. However, the "follow" and "march" modes use a camera mounted on the cart to track you, and my experience is that the camera modes work fine about 95% of the time. Unfortunately, the other 5% is very aggravating. I will be walking down the fairway with the cart behind me (in follow mode), and occasionally it just stops, but usually I don't realize it till I look back and its 50 yards behind me (which means I have to walk back 50 yards to get it to follow again). Or if I get on any type of slope, the camera has a hard time tracking and will often stop following. Sometimes just going from sun into shade will cause the cart to jam on brakes, or stop following. When it works, the follow mode is great, but the frustration from when it doesn't work and just stops, has caused me to stop using the follow or march modes and only use the remote control. I believe that if the manufacturer upgraded the camera software so that it eliminated the bugs in the follow and march mode, this would be a great cart and would get 5 stars. But for now I'm stuck using the remote control. ... show more
