UPDATE! Guessing I have about 50 rounds on it by now and I am still very happy with it. However, just a few things... 1) Hub covers on the wheels (only there for cosmetics) are crap. They have long ago fallen off and been lost. 2) The remote battery. It needs to be charged overnight. When first plugged in, it will blink slowly. Just because it stops blinking does not mean it's fully charged - it still needs 6-8 hours of more charging. This is important because: 1) Once fully charged, the remote battery will easily last for a full (I've found a full charge gets me around 27 holes). It's important to know this because once the remote battery gets down around 10%, the cart starts "getting lost" (i.e. wandering back and forth, going in circles, etc.) and struggles to do what the remote is telling it to do. And this is really important because: 2) The phone app is worthless at controlling the cart. The Phone app has a little bit of decent functionality (like see how much charge is left on the remote) but controlling the cart is not one of them. And... 3) Pushing the cart without power assistance is hard. One hole is about as much pushing as I care to do. So if the remote battery dies (or is close to dying), the cart is basically worthless. 3) The cart battery (not the remote battery) easily lasts for two full rounds. 4) There's a speed control wheel on top of the cart by the handles. It has no function, as near as I can tell. So, yeah, I can get by on charging the cart every other round but the remote has to be charged overnight after every round. So far, I have played three rounds with the G5 trolley. First round, it was a little distracting trying to figure out how best to work with it. Second round went better and third round, better still. Biggest takeaways, so far: - The follow mode works great most of the time. It works excellent with remote in the holster (clipped onto my belt BEHIND me) and pretty good when held in my hand (as long as I don't swing my arms much when I walk and don't bring the hand in front of me to hold a club, to put on or take off a glove, etc. The cart follows directly behind me. We have numerous bridges at our courses and as long as I walk down the middle of the bridge, the cart stays in the middle of the bridge. it does well avoiding greens and bunkers. It stays with me regardless of my pace of walk. I do wish the remote holster was better. With it on my belt in the small of my back, i sometimes struggle to get the remote to seat properly. And the buttons and joystick are very sensitive so I must be careful not to depress a button or the cart will suddenly stop following. I expect I will get better at this, the more I use it. - I have not used the march mode. I have had minimal experience with remote mode. The joystick is very sensitive. It was tough. I would probably do better with experience but the follow mode works so well I have no need to use remote or march modes. - Battery life is good. 6-7 miles walking 18 seems to use about half the battery capacity. - It moves well on rougher terrain. The remote vibrates to let me know to slow down a little as the cart is bumping along over roots and rough ground. - A couple of times a round it has gotten "confused". The remote vibrates to let me know there is a problem and I turn and press the follow button and the cart comes to me. - Assembly was minimal and easy. - The rear wheels fold in but I wish they were more recessed. I transport the G5 to the course in my EX-GO folded and standing on its back (display side) so the weight of the cart is resting on the rear wheels frame. And their frame is not as robust as I would like. - The detent knob for handle adjustments has three lock position in the up position but there is no lock for the fully folded position. The make loading and unloading a little awkward. - I downloaded the app but have not used it yet. There are lots of adjustments and options on the app but, for me, the trolley works great with its factory settings. So there are a couple quirks (Holster, detent locking when folded, etc.) the company should fix on future generations but so far, I extremely happy with my purchase and have recommended ICANGO to my friends. Finally, I bought the trolley in November of 2025. It shipped from China. Order to delivery time was eight days. No tariffs.

I found that the front legs started to lift off the ground on even low slopes, so i attached an 8 lb barbell to the front. That makes it 52 lbs, but still no problem at 82 years old. After trying it out twice for 6 holes in the evening, i took it out with the guys for 18 holes. However, i thought that the remote had a battery like rangefinders , but it died on the 4th hole. The remote has to be charged with your own cord.. Yes, the manual is 2nd rate, but youtube videos help. It would be helpful if there was an option for battery assist with manual guiding , but i primarily use the follow mode which works well. The remote works well enough, but that depends upon user skill. Otherwise, i am happy with the purchase.

The cart has terrific balance and strength going up hills and down hills. Its best to follow the fault line directly, but even if you don't the cart still doesn't tip over. I would encourage people to practice with the cart. I put out some orange cones in the back yard. I should have done that before using it the first time. It is sturdy. but light enough to get into the car. The phone app is a god send and serves as a great back up to the remote. It is mid priced and is an excellent value. I suspect that the G5 is equal to -- or even better than some of the more expensive carts. The packaging and protection in shipment was outstanding. Where I play golf, the electric cart fee is $30 per person. Lots of hills. I am able to walk at a solid pace and stay up with the cart people. Seeing that I play over 8 times a month. The G5 will pay for itself in about 6 months. My only criticism is that the user manual could have more complete information. However, when I contacted the company they were responsive and gave me the information that I needed.

The seller was honest. That's important to me. Although I found the return/replace process for a broken part to be difficult, I think with a few kinks ironed out the experience would be better. The product itself was great. Followed me around the golf course. Did such a good job I named it, Skippy. Sadly one piece broke on my second round of golf, whether a design flaw or a manufacturing defect I don't know. Admittedly, I was hoping they would send me a new part or new machine and I'd send them back Skippy. Hopefully the next generation will be stronger, I will likely buy it.

I posted a review of this trolley not long after I bought it last year. It has now been over a year of using it and I cannot say enough good things about it. I was initially impressed with the build quality and I my first impressions have held up. I have not had a bit of equipment trouble. I play a course that is open year round. Being retired, I play golf most days of the week and I walk most days with this trolley. My trolley came with the 36 hole battery. After one year I still easily get 36 holes of golf in on one battery charge. The newer battery claims to be good for 45 holes. I cannont vouche for that but I have no reason to doubt it. I am only writing this review because I appreciate it when someone has first hand experience with a product that they share so I wanted to do the same. I would say if you want the benefits of walking the course on a regular basis you will appreciate having the battery operated cart. There are a lot of other battery operated carts on the market. I would say for the money you cannot beat this one.

This is a great and portable golf trolley. I use the auto-follow with the remote clipped to me, and it follows me around the golf course. It is very stable when you have it properly set up and can go up and down steep hills without issue. It does not roll or tip with the support wheels extended. It is very well built and folds/unfolds quickly. The battery has lasted easily for every round I have played with it. I plug the remote and the main unit in after each round of golf. The App works well for controlling the unit and setting customizations, like follow distance.
