The people saying it smells awful are correct. It smells like human waste. I am going to wash it and will report back if that eliminates the smell because otherwise it’s nice & exactly what I wanted. UPDATE: Washing it with Tide and Clorox Laundry Sanitizer took the smell out!

I bought the 84" long curtain hoping that it would shrink enough to fit my 72" long shower. I already tried tthe 72" long curtain, and it shrunk by 7" making it useless to me. This one shrunk only 6 " again making it unusable to me unless I wanted to get it hemmed, which would cost more than the curtain. I'm really bummed out about this shower curtain. I love ticking stripes, and the fabric used for this shower curtain is the nicest I've ever come across. It is substantial and very, extremely soft and flowing. I followed the directions and washed both sizes in a large lingerie bag in cold water on the delicate cycle. The shrinkage is unbelievable. The company should let you know how much you can expect their shower curtain to shrink. If they made it in a 78" long size, and it shrunk 6", it would fit a 72" shower perfectly. But the 84" size just didn't shrink enough, and the 72" size shrunk way too much. I'll continue to looking for a ticking stripe shower curtain, but I doubt I'll find one as nice as this. ... show more
