My chevy luv heater control broke and would leak everywhere. There are no stock heater controls in any store. I saw someone talk about this control valve online and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly in my truck and the heater blows hot. I still need to find a way to adapt it into the truck since it obviously not made to mount under the hood. Overall great buy. ... show more

i bought this and it works great-its the gm vacuum valve with the vacuum diaphragm removed and a bracket with a cable clamp screwed to it-guess i could have bought the gm valve for under $20 and made the bracket-but its well made and works perfect-solved the issue on my rv-had a couple valves in there and this one seems to work the best.So yes i could have saved a few bucks but buying something ready to use saves me time-and again it works excellent.My dash ac is ice cold again and the heat will brew coffee-lol. ... show more

    • Shuts off most of the flow.
It still let's some coolant flow thru heater core. Doesn't shut off flow completely while bypassing coolant back to engine.
