Very solid and well made. Wont "crimp" your wallet😉 I love the strippers, theyre real sharp and fell good in the hand. I do a lot of wiring in boats and find myself using them for a lot of other things that arent crimped just because they work so nice. The crimper is a beast and has a very solid feel and performance. Crimps evenly and tightly and the crimp matches the size marked on the tool, better than some cheaper ones Ive had in the past.

The lugs are fine. For the price, I'd be okay with just the lugs, you really do get a ton of them. I really hate how all of these sets for lugs on amazon proudly proclaim that their lugs have a "window" so you can see that the cable made it into the lug. I don't need that, nobody needs that. All it does is introduce another place for moisture to get in and corrode the copper on the inside of the lug. I couldn't get the crimper to give me anywhere close to a good enough crimp, but the lugs are thin enough for some decent pliers to do the trick. The cable cutter actually works just fine. I'm sure the metal is pretty soft, and they won't last a real long time, but none of these things seem to, and for home use they will be just fine. The heat shrink tubes are just a joke. Don't even bother, they are thinner than saran wrap, and provide about the same protection as saran wrap would.

For the money this kit did the job. Did not find the connectors to be flimsy. I used this to rewire my duel cylinder automotive tire inflator that had a PCB board fry. Replaced it with a HD relay. I did also solder these in.

It's not a deal like, but when using the dies that are for the fitting and wire gauge you select, it's loose. I always solder anyway. Solder then crimp and it isn't going anywhere. The connectors are worth the price, although a bit lighter weight. The cutters work great. I haven't tried the crimper on normal heavy duty lugs, that may solve the issue on crimper ends being loose, but doesn't help when it's loose with the ones that ship with it The savings on the ends and the fact that you can still make it work, convinced my father to buy his own when he watched me using my set while redoing the starting and charging system on a semi truck and adding in a solar system with auxiliary batteries. It sucks it doesn't work as it's supposed to, but it still does what I need, the way I do my connections.

Perfect for the weekend warrior. Working on projects. I crimped my boat battery cables and both my trucks battery cables. Crimpers are good and so are the cutters. The copper leads are ok, not bad. They will get you by. But i would get better leads. Good deal overall.
