The headrest straps work well; chin strap helps somewhat for me and probably better for larger face/chin shape. The number one thing to know here is that on an airplane, this is a COMPLETE game-changer. Because the straps on the back are reconfigurable in several ways, they allow you to securely attach it to the headrest on the plane seat. After that, once you've got the chin strap/closure thing secured in the front, your head is not going anywhere. I currently have a pinched nerve in my neck and I cannot risk falling asleep with my head lolling off to the side. NO PROBLEM. I slept on an SFO-ORD flight for almost the full 4 hours without my head (or shoulders) moving. My body slumped a little downwards, sure, but my head was secured, which also meant I didn't lean forward at the waist. It was amazing. I think it's important to note that the airplane is not the only place this is helpful. As I said I have a neck injury right now so I will wear this sometimes just sitting on the couch watching a movie and it's incredibly effective at general immobilization as well. In the interest of full disclosure you should know that the foam can make it get kind of warm. It's only slightly uncomfortable in this way, but it's important to note nevertheless. The thoughtful design of this device is apparent at every turn — there's a small pocket where you can tuck the chin strap, the velcro tab at the top of that strap can be folded over and attached back to itself so it's not scratching up the surface, and the headrest attachment straps double over through little plastic loops, which helps with storage, as well as adding to the ability of the piece to attach to pretty much any type of headrest, probably even in various cars as well as airplanes. Even the storage pouch is well-designed, with a little buckle to allow you to quickly attach it to the handle of your suitcase or whatever. Keep in mind that you do have to roll and squish it pretty tight to get it to fit inside the pouch, but you'll figure it out, it's pretty easy — just roll it tight like a cinnamon roll and be forceful when you're putting it into the case. I love that it came with little earplugs too, though I have not used them so I can't speak to that. If you're wondering whether it's worth the cost, I give you an emphatic YES. It's not easy to make air travel more comfortable, but this product absolutely goes a long way towards doing that. I bought this head rest for an upcoming flight. I very much liked the carrier case which made transporting it a lot easier and it took up less room. It also came with ear Plugs which were a nice bonus. There is a back that straps onto the plane headrest. However, I was unable to use that feature since I'm on the shorter end. My other complaint is that it felt like it was coming up to my face. But it was comfy and did work for the flight. I also thought the colors were vibrant and fun.

This is the best travel pillow I’ve ever used! The memory foam is super soft and gives great support, keeping my head from tilting during long flights. The straps are a smart touch—they keep the pillow in place and make it so much easier to rest comfortably. It’s easy to pack, squishing down into a small travel bag, and the material feels soft and breathable. If you travel a lot, this pillow is a must-have. Highly recommend!

Best purchase ever! I flew on an 11 hour flight; comfort was my main priority. This stood the test of time. I am a head bobber. I was able to sleep and relax with this neck pillow. I loved the chin strap; it’s actually what made this pillow very sturdy and comfortable for me. I also loved that it Velcroed right onto the handle of my luggage so I could keep up with it which made transporting it very easy. This definitely was a good investment. I am looking forward to traveling with my neck pillow in the near future. I was not asked nor was I paid to write this review.

I’m a fan of the Turtl pillow but I hate how there’s no bag for it so, I bought this pillow for a trip from Hawaii to Vietnam, about 18 hours of flying. I’m a world traveler and have been through so many pillows, some are good for their own reasons, some bad. The Clip on bag is super convenient if you’re a light traveler with just a backpack, so I appreciated this feature. The headrest straps however, barely fit on the Korean Air seats or Vietnam Air seats. Just know going into it, that this pillow may not fit on your airlines seats. The pillow will fit back easily in the carry on bag with some squishing. The pillow itself is really comfortable but for me didn’t work so great with Bose Over the ear headphones. It worked fine for my wired ear bud, so I switched to those while using the pillow. I’d return if I hadn’t just drug this pillow all over the place.
