    • Only for Maintence box C9345! Not for ink cartridges!
I was a little worried after reading instructions that came with this Resetter unit because my ET-5850 printer wasn't listed there but other similar printers ET-5800 and ET-5880 were listed but ET-5850 was listed on the product description here on Amazon. I have no idea how this Resetter actually works and perhaps it doesn't matter which printer is listed or isn't listed if they all use the same Maintenance Box C9345 unit. I have no idea but no matter, all works good. I tested it when my Maintenance Box was about 50% used. I had to only press chip for about one second and it turned green and it was full again. I am going to make an external waste tank soon. There are instructions on YouTube for that. Also remember that if you print too many borderless prints then you have to reset platen pad counter using WIC reset software but fortunately that feature is free. There is one problem. You have to switch or clean those pads yourself. Resetting Maintence Box and cleaning it or building external waste tank cannot help to reset borderless ink pads. That has to be done differently and it might be difficult to change those because the printer probably needs to be opened. I don't plan to do too many borderless prints. I heard that somebody did 2000 borderless prints and then the printer was complaining that it needs to be serviced. But if you use WIC reset utility that should work at least as a short temporary fix before cleaning the pads or changing them yourself. Cheers! =) ... show more

Works perfectly and saves me TONS of money on replacement maintenance tank costs for my Epson ET 8550. This is the second one I’ve purchased (3 years apart) due to the pins falling out, but I would continue to purchase.

This thing actually worked, I was shocked. You do typically need to pull out your waste-tank before doing a power clean to flash it (when prompted), but it works once you stick it back in and hit okay. You need this tool if you print alot of DTF images.

Definitely a must have if you make your own waste tank for your epson et8550. I have now used it twice and it resets my ink tank to 100%. Note: do not do this if you are using the maintenance tank as is. If you reset knowing you are at 100%, the maintenance tank will overflow. This has not happened to me because I have converted mine to an external waste tank. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was so happy ti receive this chip resetter. Had to send back it because one of the Pins Was lose. Now I was sent another one it still dosen't work. Dont turn green at all
