I used the cord to rewire a bandsaw. I cut it in half, ran it from the outside of the base to the motor and spliced it together. I used the other half from the switch on the saw down to the base. Now I can more easily disassemble the unit if I ever have to move it. It works great. The cord had a good thickness. It's pliable but not floppy. The outer insulation seemed like nice quality black rubber. The wires were nice and thick and also have good insulation. Both ends fit firmly together with no threat of easily coming apart.
