Byroe Truffle Eye Serum with Advanced Truffle Complex is supposed to provide “line minimizing hydration” and depuff and firm the eye area. I have mature, dry, sensitive skin and have had chronic dark circles since I was a teen. I get some flakiness in my eye area at times, but I don’t get puffy eyes and can’t speak to amy depuffing benefit. This serum has a light, pleasant fragrance that I don’t notice after it’s applied, and this serum doesn’t irritate or bother my skin or eyes. It has a pleasing lightweight texture that isn’t runny, and I find it easy to apply a small amount by lightly tapping it into my skin. It absorbs well without the use of alcohol and doesn’t leave any noticeable residue or cause any issues with my makeup. This serum has multiple types of hyaluronic acid and effectively hydrates and plumps the skin around my eyes, and as a result it minimizes the look of my fine lines (like many good serums). It hydrates well and I’ve had no flakiness since using it. My skin get a bit of a firming effect, but so far it seems part and parcel to the plumping benefit. This has avocado peptides that may have restorative benefits, such as firmness, but that will take many weeks of regular use for me to judge. This serum is supposed to brighten the eye area, and I do feel it gives my skin a luminous look that’s temporarily brightening. But it doesn’t actually improve my dark circles, nor does it claim to provide that benefit. The ingredients all rate low risk by EWG, except fragrance can have all kinds of chemicals in it and rates high risk yet provides no benefit. I like this serum and am rating it 4 stars, but I may update and increase my rating if I notice longer benefits. Made in Republic of Korea.

Firstly I want to recognize this ingenious packaging. As you can see in my photos it comes with this precise nozzle type tip that really helps to dispense the product right where you need it. I've never seen anything quite like it personally and I just absolutely love this design. This eye serum has an advanced truffle complex and hyalauronic acid formula that visibly firms and treats the puffiness we can get under our eyes while also smoothing out those fine lines and wrinkles. This serum feels so lovely going on the skin, it starts out like a light cream but as you lightly push and rub it into the skin it really does start to melt away into a light serum so it isn't heavy or cakey at all. I've found that it really helps to brighten my under eye area very nicely and it's really great prep before doing your makeup, especially for those of us with mature skin. My concealer goes on like an absolute dream after prepping my under eye area with this serum first. I can definitely tell when I don't use it because the concealer will look dry and cakey. I especially love that this product is vegan, cruelty free and uses no parabens or mineral oils. It's so lightweight but still packs a punch! I use it after cleansing and toning my skin and with a light hand I just press the serum into the under eye area until well absorbed. The nozzle really ensures that you get the product right where you need it with precision. This serum has really been such a game changer for me in my skincare routine. I give this product an enthusiastic 10/10 and very highly recommend this to all my friends and family....and to you dear reader. Give it a try because I know you will love it too.
