  • Worth the price.
Color: Black
When I started water cooling I was trying to budget myself (nearly impossible) and went with an $12 off brand foset style drain. If I didn't have a plug on the of brand it would leak a ridiculous amount. After rebuilding my loop I wanted something a little more low profile and this fit the bill. Small sleek and doesn't leak if there isn't a plug in it. I still keep a plug in it for safeties sake but no more race to get the drain hose on before major spillage ... show more

  • Drain game strong—simple, secure, and loop-friendly.
Color: Black
Installed this pull-style drain valve into my custom water cooling loop, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. The G1/4 threading fits perfectly with standard fittings, and the compact design makes it easy to tuck into tight spots at the bottom of the case. When it’s time to drain, just lift the cap and let gravity do the work—no twisting, no mess. The seal is tight, no leaks even after multiple cycles, and the matte black finish blends in nicely with the rest of the setup. It’s a small part, but it makes maintenance way less of a hassle. Just don’t overtighten—thread stripping is real, and Bykski even warns you about it. If you’re building a loop and want a clean, no-fuss way to drain without flipping your rig upside down, this valve earns its spot. ... show more

  • Would not be my choice of design - go with EK
Color: Black
I used it for several month now. Gave it a preference over EK valve due to estetics and matching the rest of the component, but there are two big issues with this valve. (1) by design, when as it is being, closed and the tube slides over, the residual fluid in that compartment leaks out from under the outer tube and from behind. Not a terribly big issue as I always keep paper towel nearby when draining the loop. (2) there are no cutouts for any type of wrench to hold the valve as I screw a cap or a draining tube into its openining. The top cover just keeps spinning and only about 2/5” of the valve metal is exposed on the side of the external tube. And it has sharp edges - I cut myself trying to prevent it from turning as I was unscrewing the cap. Even if you could get a set of pliers thin enough to grab onto it, I would likly damage it or at least scathe its appearance. My third issue is with Bykski customer service. It is nit bad per se, but some screws were missing from another expensive item I bought from them. They charge for shipping - fine. But then they insisted on all kinds of verifications, just emailing back and forth, all over two tiny screws that were missing from t h e i r package and as I was trying to save t h e m a trouble of having to deal with my return. Not what I expected when dealing with overpriced after market custom loop suppliers ... show more

  • Useless, waste 🗑. Defective.
Color: Black
Can not use it, to open it, you have to use a lot of force to open it, and when you try to force it open you will break or bend your pump reservoir combo and the tubing. The other one I ordered was lost in the delivery. I thought this one would be better, but it did not work out. Now I have to find some other solution to drain my water loop. Looks can be deceiving. ... show more

  • Leaks water when you close it
Color: Black
I have only faced this one issue with it, and its this: When the valve is open or closed, it seals well. It also stays sealed when you open it. However, when you close it, that seal is briefly broken. Thus, if you have not COMPLETELY dried out the loop, and there is still some water in and around the valve when you close it (which there probably will be), it will immediately leak a substantial amount of fluid. Luckily, when this happened for me, the valve wasn't above anything electronic. But it did drip a fair amount of water onto the bottom of my case. In hindsight, I wish I had gone with a different valve. ... show more

  • This valve will not pass a pressure test
Color: Black
Save your money and buy an alternative. I pressure tested my loop a dozen times before I realized it was the drain valve. I pressure tested the valve itself with a three way fitting and the leak was so bad the pressure was out of the green range in less than a minute. I then tested the three way fitting and after thirty minutes the pressure never dropped confirming it is a faulty drain valve. Based on the number of folks with the same problem I think it best to find another brand ... show more
