  • WELL Worth The Price!
Style: Regular Track Color: Oyster White
The price is a bit steep but this walker is worth it and I expect to have it help me for years to come. Light?! VERY! Handsome?! VERY! Sturdy?! VERY! In and out of the car is a breeze! I have had so many people stop and ask me about it including luggage personal at hotels and airports and Amtrak! People who see walkers of every kind. They are surprised by the look, the weight and the ease it folds up1 That says a lot right there. ... show more

  • Lightweight and incredibly helpful
Style: Wide Track Color: Black
After spine surgery, I am trying to become more independent. I had a cheap aluminum walker but found it was a bit wobbly and difficult to use on our saltillo tile floors. I wanted something lightweight with a seat, just in case I was walking and needed a rest. This walker fits the bill perfectly, and it doesn't look like my grandmother's walker...a definite plus. I am able to stand straight with it and walk with a very smooth gait. I got the wider one, which was just a tad too wide for some of our doorways. I can just pull the seat up and collapse it ever so slightly to be able to get it through the door, and then push the seat down once I've passed through. As you can see from the photo, this walker remains upright and fairly sturdy while partly collapsed (though I'm sure the manufacturer doesn't recommend this strategy). It works great for me. The handholds are easily adjustable and the locking mechanism works well, although if you push it when the parking brakes are on, and if the surface is slippery, it will move as the wheels can slide on a slick ground. The wheels are soft enough to be quite comfortable on slightly uneven tile floors. I like that the brake cords are hidden in the frame, so the overall appearance is very sleek. At this point, my legs are not strong enough to use the feature that raises the front wheels, but the walker is very light and I can just lift the whole thing over the threshold to our house. The only thing I don't really care for is the bag, which doesn't hold much. Instead, I use the hanging bags that you see in the photo and that I got from Etsy. I also use the seat as a tray most of the time. Yes, this is expensive. But is it worth it -- absolutely! My PT does say that, for the price, he thinks it should have disc brakes. LOL. But that would undoubtedly make it heavier, and the low weight is a top priority for me. I highly recommend this walker. ... show more

  • "Different" than any other Rollator!
Style: Regular Track Color: Red
This rollator really is light. It is very well made, & styled like no other rollator. It is a very "minimalist" rollator. But the mechanism to fold & unfold works slick. It feels VERY rock solid & stable in use. The grips, levers, etc. are very comfortable. When I got it out of the box, I wondered what the little elastic thing with a pull tab was on one of the end projections of the seat supports. The directions didn't say what it was for. I figured out pretty quick that it was to stretch over the projection on the other seat support when the rollator is folded. NEAT! Works great. The organizer bag that comes is made of very sturdy material & has a good zipper flap. It'll hold phone, tablet, small book, etc. I found I could put my coffee mug in it & zip the flap part way to keep it from tipping. The 1st time I tried to hang the bag, I struggled to get it on the posts, but I found if I just collapsed the frame slightly, it went on very easy. Some reviewers have said it steers too hard, or pulls to one side. I have found that it does handle a little "different" from my other ones (I have several). But I LIKE the difference. Most rollators tend to hunt around as you walk, like a car with badly worn steering. This one is more stabile & feels like I am actually "steering" it. I like that feel. There are 3 size choices & I pondered on that before ordering. I almost got the compact version, trying to keep things easy to get through doors, etc. But I knew this was going to be snug for seating. I finally chose the Regular Track & boy am I glad I did. Here's something that doesn't show too well in the photos. The frame is much wider at the bottom which helps stability. But, the width tapers as it goes up. The regular track seat is 16 1/2" wide, which is just right for me. But the taper puts the brake handles only 14 1/2" apart. Sitting down is done with a kind of angular motion so I have no problem, but rising is more straight up & I have to be careful because my rear always pops a brake lever to the off position as I rise. The wide track wouldn't do this with me, but the extra width at the bottom wouldn't fit through several doors in my house. I'm about 5' 9", average build, At 1st I had the height adjusted to the top, but directions recommended having the grips about wrist high, which meant lowering one hole. So I tried this & found it was more comfortable & gave me better control. These grips are a little different than most. The weight & measurements given are pretty accurate. Mine weighs 10.6 lb. with the organizer bag. It's very easy to manage getting into a car trunk, rear seat, etc. The seat is too firm for long term sitting. It costs a lot, but so does the Drive Medical Nitro Elite. The Nitro is comfortable, well made, has more bells & whistles, & feels like a Mack truck. If you need "LIGHT", this one is about like one of those little 3 wheeled jobs, but they're tippy. This one is very stabile. Update 8-25-21: See my review for the Acre cane holder. ... show more
