I have used this tool now to clean the gutters all around my house, and all I can say is it gets the job done. This time of year, I have tons of maple tree seeds and debris from a big tree nearby, and these are very difficult to remove. It took me a few passes and bending the flexible top part in many ways until I found the right angle, but in the end, I got the stuff moving toward the corners of the house where I could get them scooped out. Two recommendations. One, make sure the top and bottom attachments are tightened sufficiently, otherwise they tend to get loose on their own when the water pressure builds up and then they start spewing water. You don’t want to break these plastic parts, but these connections must be tight enough. Second, have an extra set of dry clothes on hand until you figure out how to use this thing properly... Once past my learning curve, it was easy to use and more fun than climbing up the ladder. I should also mention that the seller was quick to respond when I initially found that one of the parts was defective and took care of the problem in an effective manner. ... show more

I live in a manufactured (formerly called mobile) home, with aluminum awnings, that have rain gutters built in to them. Whoever created these, didn’t consider that they’re nearly impossible to get into to clean. My only saving grace, is I’m a woman with small hands, and although I could only get 2 fingers in, I could pull most of the leaves and muck out. This tool, with it’s small flexible attachment, enabled me to power spray the rest of the crud out. It’s the only tool I found that was tiny enough to push into the small openings along the gutter. The only complaints I have, is the unit itself is long, (great for 2 story home-not so great for a shorter manufactured home) and you can’t take it apart to make it shorter. On top of that, when I shortened it as far as it would go and tightened it in place, the water pressure pushed it right back out. So it was very clumsy for me to use, as I had to tilt it sideways and drag it along. My gutters are only about 8 feet off the ground. They need to make this in a shorter version for people who don’t need a very long pole. But even with the obstacles, I got it to work. ... show more

The telescoping metal tube is about 5 feet when collapsed down, and a little over 10 feet when extended. Add another 12” to 18” for the flexible portion with the nozzle and the overall length approaches 12 feet. It worked nicely when spraying off my picture windows at 2nd story height.

Actually loved it when it came I was able to hit the gutters and had great pressure but the on and off button broke the first time we used it. The seller had no parts but he did find a replacement part for under $7 and is willing to credit me $10. This new part looks alot more sturdy and should work fine. ... show more
