I had to scour Amazon for a button maker that I not only wanted but would be easy enough to use in the affordable category. A couple had horrible reviews, along with the "this broke after a couple of uses," so it was becoming daunting. This one, however, had great reviews and seemed easy enough. So far, it's been proven true. The buttons are easy to put together as long as you follow the instructions, and it comes with things to cut out if you order it that way. I will say the cutters that come with it are a bit difficult to use, and so far, I have cut through my normal standard cutting board that I use for scrapbooking cutting tools, which, while impressive, shouldn't have happened, as it's designed for cutting tools. The biggest reason it was impressive is, the cutter still could barely cut standard paper correctly yet somehow cut the scrapbooking cutting board. It was conflicting and hard to understand at the same time. I will say if you order this, make sure you get extra buttons and a different cutting tool mainly because having the extra buttons gives you better wiggle room to find a template and explore what size of picture you really need, as many online are hard to follow in the guide range needed.

I purchased this as a gift for my granddaughter and she was thrilled with it and has made several buttons. The huge smile on her face when she unwrapped it made it worth every cent. Simple to operate and surprisingly heavy, it appears to be quite durable. The pins she has produced look very professional. Would recommend and I would purchase again.

Items has missing parts and scratch all over . And the buttons won’t stick as the quality is bad . Some of the parts arrived broken and there is a return eBay label inside not worth it

Overall good so far, but reduced stars because parts of the product were damaged. The button machine worked but one of the circle cutters was damaged and some of the metal button pieces were bent upon arrival making them unusable. I used the smaller cutter & made buttons successfully on my second attempt, so I would say so far, so good for that part. Came in a timely manner as well. So, if there had been no damage, rating would have been better.
