I’ve used butterfox cases and recommended them to all my friends since the switch 1 so when I got the switch 2 version I knew I had to get their case for it. This case has a more rubbery surface than previous cases which were more of a cloth nylon feel. As always the build quality is excellent and the fabric lining inside is fantastic. Big upgrade on the lining since the switch 1 case. It holds a whopping 26 cartridges and 2 microSD cards. The top compartment is huge and can hold basically everything but the dock. And even a second set of joy con. The zipper has got a fabric pull tab so that your joy con is not scratched, lovely carry over from previous cases. The official charger fits in the top compartment though there is a slight bulge on the outside of the case. It’s nothing major, the switch is well protected by the flap, and the zippers expand to accommodate the charger. The 16 cartridge holder under the switch compartment is required by an elastic strap but I’ve found that taking it out with one hand has the elastic strap sometimes pulling the cartridges out of their slots. Otherwise the elastic holding down the cartridges is very strong, they don’t slide out on their own otherwise. You could probably just toss it in the top compartment and maybe fit a really slim charger battery under the switch and charge inside the case. Also like previous cases, the 10 cartridge holder that is the screen protector flap doubles as a stand when you stick it to the pull tab that lifts the switch out. Glad they pulled this over. My favorite bit is that it’s the soft part of the hook and loop that touches the switch screen and not the hook part. Thoughtful design from butterfox. The branding is subtle, just the fabric tag on the outside and the logo on the outside zipper pulls. I quite like their logo and brand name and this style of subtle branding rather than a giant molding of a logo or big switch shape on the outside. It’s not immediately obvious that it’s a switch inside so it’s more stealth that way. Grab handle on the outside feels nice and sturdy as well. Bulging issues from the charger aside, it’s a wonderful case, I’ve seen butterfox update their cases before so I have no doubt they’ll fix this at some point. I actually don’t mind since 60w USB C chargers are fairly common in even slimmer forms than the official switch charger. Plus the greater value is being able to fit a large battery bank in here. One small note, it shipped in a poly bag so the outside got a bit dented by shipping. If this was packaged in a box that would be great but I’d hate if that increased the price too much because the price point of this case is perfect. Butterfox delivers the same high quality and feature-rich design for this Switch 2 case as they did with their original Switch model. Unlike Nintendo's official case, this one offers a generously-sized zippered inner pouch large enough to hold a charging brick & cable, MULTIPLE sets of Joycon 1/2 controllers with wrist straps, and other such accessories. There are 22 game card slots to securely hold games and 2 smaller slots for microSD/express cards. The console with attached Joycon 2 controllers fits flush into its designated compartment, even with flared aftermarket hand grips and thumbstick caps. A soft-backed inner flap secures over the screen of the console with velcro to prevent screen damage. The sturdy outside handle with a rubber hand grip allows for easy transport, and the outer shell is constructed of rugged material with high quality zippers to protect your investment from drop and liquid damage. While this case may be thicker than the official one from Nintendo and lack an included screen protector, it clearly wins the competition in terms of functionality and protective ability. My biggest regret is not waiting for the Butterfox case to be available before overpaying for the officially licensed one. ... show more

I like this case a lot it's great quality. Unfortunately it didn't work for me because I have a grip case for my Lite and it was too snug inside this case and was putting excessive pressure on the sticks. Had to return it.

Very good quality case. I initially bought the extra large one but found it to be too big then I saw they had different sizes. The one I got was the large one. And these come on a few colors and you can get it with or without the butterfox logo. Fits everything I want it to fit. I'm not sure if it will fit the switch 2 with like the killswitch 2 case on it. But for now this is excellent protection and storage for games and amiibo cards. Highly recommend. Update : don't zip the inner compartment all the way. The zipper pull hangs down onto the left joycon and could possibly scratch it. Other than that this case has been awesome. ... show more
