Description

The Compact table tennis table by Butterfly table tennis is the perfect table for those looking for top value, convenience, and playability. The Butterfly Compact ping pong table requires no assembly and has a 3 year warranty, providing countless hours of fun without the hassle. The 19mm or 16mm top is available in blue or green and is protected by a strong steel frame and attractive magenta corner pieces that perfectly accentuate the top color. The difference between the 19mm and 16mm tables is that the 19mm table has a thicker top and frame. The Butterfly Compact table divides into two equal halves, each half consisting of legs that fold into the top and two wheels are located in the center of each half. This allows for simple maneuverability and compact storage, as the tables are only 3 inches wide when folded and stored together. A Butterfly clip net and post set is provided, which includes a rubber cover on the clamp to avoid damage to the center corners of the table. The wrong product was delivered the first time I ordered this, but that may have been an individual seller's fault. I contacted Amazon customer service and repeated the order. I got the correct product the second time. I am very happy with the table. I needed something that would fold up small to lean up against a wall. This is really the only option in that category. This is a bit nicer (and a bit more expensive) than other ping pong tables I have gotten in the past. Surface looks great. I love the green color. I'm no expert, but I am a pretty competitive player. I played ping pong on it and it felt like ping pong. Perhaps a slightly lower bounce on the lines, but I have only gotten to play once and I don't want to judge that too early. The net is great. The clip on mechanism is great. The net fit perfectly and it has adjustable tension. It was better than expected, but I have bought cheaper tables in the past. This was definitely a step up for me in the net department. It is possible to set up and tear down the table with one person if you are on relatively short carpet like me. That makes the table drag a bit when wheeling, but allows you to lever it up and down without worrying about damage. Definitely easier to set up with 2, and you will have 2 to play ping pong anyway. I think it was packaged very well. I was nervous about the shipping process, and the box wasn't beautiful when it arrived, but it was well protected inside the box. I wanted a full sized table that completely collapsed into two parts for easy storage. This hit all my marks. I can technically set it up by myself, its easier with two people but can be done solo. You might ask, how do you play ping pong by yourself where you need to set it up solo. You cant. But i've set it up and friends leave then i have to put it away and luckily i can do it myself. This is a top class table tennis board and due to its foldable nature can be stowed away when the occupied space needs to get released. The wheels at the center is suitable for a single operator to maneuver the table in two parts. The bounce of the ball is fair enough and so is the quality of the build. Packaging was also very good, though the board was left partially exposed to the rain water, moisture didn’t trickledown. This is a great table overall. Had no problems with shipping or delays. No assembly required whatsoever. Easily rolls away with 2 people when not in use. The table is stored as two halves on wheels. The only thing I would suggest is that the corners have more protection, as it already has plastic which is still manageable. Nice looking table with minimal assembly. Folding and storing is a bit awkward. I had to by clamps to secure them together. Several screws have loosen and fallen off the table. I replaced them with slightly larger screw which has worked out better. Over all we have really enjoyed the table.
