Excellent Quality Breaker for Car Audio Power
I prefer the breaker type of fuse for my power wire at the battery. I use an ANL type quick blow in line fuse for each power lead to my amplifiers, at the amplifier. My amplifiers also have internal fuses. This breaker can be opened for work on the system, then closed when you are done. Very easy. It also has good durability for water (I don't recommend getting it too wet as it may short the leads). I have detailed my engine compartment and this has been wet numerous times (I do try to avoid it). The old breaker was lower amperage, and had been in the truck for 14 years (same brand) and worked flawlessly when replaced with this larger breaker. ... show more

I used this for a winch circuit. It works well so far. I wish the mounting holes on the base had some kind of metal bushing to allow me to attach to my vehicle a little more securely. I did not tighten the mounting bolts as might as I would have preferred for fear of breaking the plastic base. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. ... show more

Excellent switch
I installed this battery disconnect to disconnect my battery while towing my truck behind my motor coach. In the past I needed to pull a fuse to prevent the battery from draining. I needed to keep the key on to unlock the steering. I installed new battery cables and fabricated a bracket to mount the switch. ... show more

Great for car audio amp installs.
Easy to use. So much better in car audio install. No fuses to replace or disconnect during upgrades. Fuses can run 5-10 each, this is a one and done.

Perfect Protection!
Exactly what I needed. Previous owner straight wired the starter with no fuse so when the wire shorted out it melted everything and battery shorted out as well. Bad part is that I was leading my class in the race when this happened. Now I don't have to worry about damaging my electrical system.
