I always averaged around 300mbps down and 10mbps up and this continued to be the same speed after connecting my new Ps5. I pay for 1gb down and 50mbps up and had just accepted this as normal since it had been consistent for 10+ years. I decided to try a new cable and future proof my cable. I stumbled upon this cable and ran it and to my surprise I doubled my speeds! (See pictures) This cable is very stout and feels great in your hand. I really can't believe how long I've gone with slower speeds and it was all because of my cable! Do yourself a favor and upgrade your cables. CAT8 is far more than most homes need due to pricing, but this makes it far more affordable and worth the purchase! Once you are connected with CAT8 cables you'll never look back. When purchasing cables you need to remember that one fast cable won't speed up your whole network. If you want fast speeds everywhere, all cables need to upgrade to truly get the utility of what the cables offer.
