We did a lot of research before buying a tent. After trying a Core tent we decided to return it and purchase the Bushnell 12 man tent. There is absolutely no comparison in quality. The Core tent was thin and seemed like it could rip easily. The Bushnell’s material is thicker and seems far more durable. Set up and take down were a breeze. My wife and I were able to put it up in about 5 minutes. The instant tent hubs snapped into place easily and the telescoping support poles were a breeze to expand into place. We didn’t use the fly this last trip since it was beautiful out and no chance of rain but we have used it before and it was easy to install - just clip it at the bottom of each pole. The six windows offer plenty of great airflow, especially with the rain fly not installed. All of the zippers are very sturdy. No catching and they zipped smoothly. About the only thing I’d change is the door. I prefer the hinged door some Coleman tents have, but most large tents have the same three zipper door. It worked fine - no issues - but a hinged door is more convenient. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and functionality of this tent. The Bushnell is a tad more expensive than some but the quality of the tent more than makes up for it.

Great tent, stays dry in the rain. The room divider rolls in very close to the outter walls for an unencumbered large room. The rain fly can be easily placed over the tent before raising the legs to full height and the entire operation is easily accomplished by one person. However it does take considerably more time than the one minute claim to erect it. The extended rain fly over and around the front doors keep the area dry and allows for some items to be stored there out of the weather. We have had it for two camping seasons so far (about 21-28 nights each) and it is holding up well.

So we bought this tent before we checked the weather of where we were camping. We set it up for the 1st time in 10-15 min max, including taking it out of the shipping box, laying tarps down, moving it, setting it up, then staking it. It was a joy not messing with 15 poles. It opened easy like an umbrella and then extend the legs. Easy peasy! About 3 hours after we arrived the Temps dropped into the mid 30s!!!!! We stayed pretty dang warm. Infact, at 4am I went out to for a potty break and felt the drastic difference in temperature inside the tent vs outside. The next three days brought poring rain and 40 degree Temps. We stayed warm and DRY! No leaks even with torental rain and heavy winds. This tent is way better than I expected. In the summer the large screen windows and side vents will help cool the tent down, I am sure. All in all highly recommend. We got the medium size. It fit our queen bed and two 49 inch dog beds. 2 folding chairs some tubs and tables. With space left to maneuver around. Did I mention durability. I have one 130lbs dog and one 100lbs dog. They are NOT gentle and the tent has stood up to scratching, trying to push the doors open, trying to poke nose through windows and screen doors. So it is durable! Great investment. If you are on the fence, I recommend buying it.

This is good tent overall. Great size for a single queen air mattress. Tall enough to stand up in. It can easily be setup by one person but easier with two. It is also easy to take down and get back in the bag. It has lots of built in storage features and the rain fly extends out to provide a small covered area that provides shade and prevents rain from getting in the tent when using the door. This is the second one of these tents that I have purchased. The first is still in use after five years and dozens of camping trips. The plastic hub at the top of the tent failed recently causing one of the poles to bend. I replaced the pole with a piece of electrical conduit and drilled out the plastic hub to attach the new pole with a bolt and nut. I considered throwing it away, but the rest of the tent was in such good shape I decided to keep it. This tent has performed well in rain, cold weather, and heat. When the rain fly is removed you have an excellent view of the stars great ventilation. We have two other Bushnell tents. They have all been good quality.

i really wanted to like this tent because on paper it seems incredible. fist off i have always used pole tents and never have used a pop up style tent so maybe take that into consideration when i say it was not easy to set up. id get one side kind of situated and move to the other and the first side would collapse. this happened over and over and over. i could be doing something wrong but i don't think i was. the "hubs" take very little weight for them to collapse in on the tent which is extremely questionable since they have hanger loops directly under the hubs. the mechanism that allows the poles to extend is another pain point as one of them malfunctioned the very first time i used it. i actually had to kind of take it apart where the two tabs hold it to the pole to get it to work again. these all seem like things that will leave you without a tent when they break ( which they will ). the "vestibule" is very disappointing. it is way to small to use for siting chairs in. the over head coverage is very minimal so leaving things under it that should stay dry is not an option. lastly idk why it does not have a door in the vestibule. its got gear pockets and what not and no way to close it up. its almost like displaying things to be stolen. the door on the actual tent is designed poorly as well. it zips out of the way on the bottom but does not on the top so you have to duck in the center of the door to get in without catching either of the two doors. the buckles for the rain fly feel like they are going to break on the first use. the plastic links that go between the poles and the tent feel like they are going to break on the first use. the tent stakes are made of playdough and every single one of them bent with one swing of a mallet. for a tent that is borderline 500 bucks i would expect dramatically better hardware. i have seen better hardware on no name knockoff brands. the fabric that was used feels cheap and like i will just absorb moisture. i have not water tested this tent yet so i can not speak to the accuracy of that claim. but for anyone who has had multiple tents you should all know what i mean when i say the fabric feels like its dry and will absorb. that all being said the height and size are great at the look of the tent is very nice. unfortunately no one cares what it looks like if it does not perform. i give this about a 2 out of 10 and will 100% be returning this tent as the market in this tents price range offers 100s of tents. I'm sure there are at least a few that will out perform this in every way.

This tent is amazing, very well built, heavy duty zippers, thick material all around. The tent just feels sturdy. It’s very easy to set up and take down, its a lot easier to pack away with two people but manageable for 1. The tent bag is very nice had an expandable zip on the bottom to help it fit back in. I have owned a lot of tents, I was tired of dealing with poles, and wanted something that could be a little more mobile. Hunting out west and camping for a day or two then pack up and moving is incredibly easy with this tent. Lots of room for a queen sized air mattress and gear. It even stood up a Rocky Mountain snow storm! woke up with a foot of snow on the ground and 6 inches of snow on the top. It’s not a 4 season tent by any means but it did it. Snow will make its way under the rain fly and sit on the netting, but held up very well. Very sturdy in the wind, and kept us dry when it rained. Just a very solid tent for the price, you will not be disappointed.

So I put up the tent for the first time. Very easy to put up. Tent is made of a thicker material then previous two tents. Now, understand I live in this tent. I’m off grid starting to build a house , so this is my home. I’m in the 9x11 one, I think it’s the 9 man. I have a double cot in it. could fit another one and still have room. So far zippers are holding up, I like the fact that they are straight up and down. my last tent had a radius to them. So bad. Love love love the little awning it comes with nice and big. Could fit a couple chairs under it and stay out of rain. It has rained and hailed on the tent. So far so good. Not a huge fan of the window set up in the rain. After it stopped I opened them and water came in. Wish the rain fly extended out a little further. One other bad thing is the front doors there’s only one grommet to hold door open??? Doesn’t work very well. Ending on a positive note. Love the fact it has nice Big screens on it and when the awning is on you can leave the front two open and watch the rain. Over all very happy with the tent. Well worth the money.

just finished 14day camp in southeast oklahoma,2nd day had extreme thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall and 50mph wind gust,at night .since i was dropped off at campsite there was no getting in a vehicle to escape potential disaster ie.tornado or collapsing tent do to downpour and winds let alone lightning strikes,so, there i was,comfy,dry and astonished at how well this tent withstood the elements for a large tent.i usually use a mountain hiking small 2man tent by alps that has never failed me through some intense snowstorms and thunderstorms but this 6person tent held up,not only held up but guy lines didn,t budge,no leaks,no torn fabric from wind shear,absolutely sturdy.so,a big thankyou to bushnell for keeping me a happy camper.great tent for an old dude like myself(68)with easy setup,teardown was a learning curve getting it into carrying case but next time will be a breeze.once again thanks bushnell and hopefully i get quite a few more sunrises and sunsets out of this beauty.
