Haven’t skied with them yet, but M/L fit perfect for my 8/8.5 foot. I have small calves, so top fit fine, but it is definitely snug. I can see how those with larger calves found these too tight. But material is soft and seems to fit well. Also, color on “stout white” is much prettier in person. I am not familiar with this brand, so I had no idea what to expect. When they arrived, I was surprised at the bright colors (my order indicated 'dusk' but I actually got the much brighter 'tahoe'. I still love them. The colors are vivid. The socks are very soft and very thick. Inside feels like terry cloth. I can see these being very warm in the winter and adding extra padding for walking/ sports. However, I tried them on (a women's size 11) and they fit me great in the foot but the top was too tight. I have to scrunch them down quite a bit in order to get them comfortable on my leg. My daughter, who wears a women's 8.5, found them a little large in the foot but ok up under the knee. They were a little tight around the leg but she seems more ok with it than I did. All in all, they are nice socks. The softness makes up for a lot. Especially for a 13 year old who is much less picky about socks than I am. ... show more

I want to start by saying I have very large calves and these were not to tight on me. They stayed up without bunching, which is what you want when wearing them skiing. This was the first year that my feet stayed toasty warm in my ski boots the entire day without the need for foot warmers. These are by far my favorite ski socks I have ever owned and super cute, too. I'm 5 8" with pretty thin calves and these totally stay up and are long enough. Warm too. Love them. Have bought about 4 pairs over the past couple years, wear them all winter when going out walking.

These socks are amazing. Comfy, thick, warm! Bought them for snowmobiling - don't have an issue with feet staying warm anyways, but was looking for a nice long pair. These are it! Also bought kids socks for my two littles.

These socks are thick and very comfortable, and great for wearing with snowboard boots. The cushioning is really nice on the bottom of my feet too. - feels like I'm walking on puffy clouds. I've put them through the washing machine a couple times now, and hung them out to dry. They've maintained their shape, size, and softness. I'd definitely recommend these socks. ... show more
