Workwear meets snowstorm. The Burton women's Avalon Bib Stretch Denim delivers a classic style backed up with crucial storm-shedding tech. It's cut from stretchy, breathable polyester denim with a thermo-regulating lining, so you can ride through squalls and sun without a wardrobe change. A zippered drop- seat, thigh vents, and adjustable suspenders help make life on the mountain more comfortable.How To Measure Arms:Measure the distance from the middle of the back of your neck, over the top of the shoulder, along the outside of your arm, over the elbow to the prominent wrist bone, taken with the arm bent 90 degrees and the hand placed on the hip. Chest:Place a tape measure under your arms and measure around the fullest part of your chest. Natural Waist:Measure around your natural waist at the narrowest point. Hips:Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Body Inseam/ Inside Leg:Measure from the top of your inner thigh along your leg to the bottom of your ankle. If you like your trousers long, measure down the lower part of your foot. Garment Inseam:Using a pair of pants that fit well, measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. For outerwear pants we recommend that cuffs do not pool in the front to stay clear of binding buckles and connection points.

I freaking love these! They are not the warmest but I like that I don't overheat and I can wear warmer thermals when needed. These are close fitting and cute without looking like a prissy snow turd type. I read the reviews about the snaps coming undone on the sides...one of mine popped once but that was while I was putting my boots on. I found the zipper side action to be nice in the bathroom even though you can't see what's happening while you pee because the bib blocks your view. I like the pattern...husband said I was easy to see. I ordered extra small and I am 5"4 122 pounds....thermal pants or thin sweats under fit fine. Length was great with ski boots. Little long with snow boots but I'm not that tall. Overall love them. ... show more

I’m shy of 5’8”, size 6-8, 157Ibs. Athletic, but some thick thighs. I would normally wear mediums and I decided to order a large based on prior reviews. I feel like a medium would have been fine, however, I like the baggier look personally. I paired it with a bib belt in the back to avoid the gap in the waist. While it looks like it’s fitting just fine in the pic, it’s actually nice and roomy and being held in the back with a belt. Perfect for me honestly. I prefer the legs to be looser. I think the height is perfect for a tall person like myself. I just ordered the regulars and they are perfect in the length. I don’t know if I’ll have the button issue that I see in prior comments, because mine are really durable and not super flimsy as mentioned in prior post. Maybe it’s only certain colors. Idk. PROS: Awesome bib pant. Really great quality. Love the deep front pockets and breast pocket. LOVE that the seat of the pants zip down for easy bathroom use... honestly SO helpful. Comfortable. Really stylish, but a little boxy with the wide waist. CONS: Hickory is GREEN! Not brown, not tan.. GREEN. Don't be fooled. Every website's photo of this color looked so different.. some brown, some tan, some green. Let the debate be settled, as it is very Olive Green. The pants are a bit longer than needed. I'm 5'4" 115lbs and they could stand to be at least 2" shorter. Oh well. Wish the deep front pockets had zip/velcro closures.. Although they are deep enough for your items to not fall out, even when tumbling down the mountain. I'm just over-cautious and want everything to zip up completely. The back elastic is much bigger than I thought. It's SO loose and gaping if I'm just wearing a shirt underneath. However, if I tuck a thick sweater in, it's better. Just a little bit of an odd fit in my opinion. Love it, but I think I would have returned had I not received them the DAY before my snowboarding trip. I had no choice but to wear them. If green bothers you, don't bother trying them. I'm stuck with a new red snow jacket, and now I look like a Christmas tree bolting down the mountain... what can ya do!? ... show more

I am 5’ 3 “ and weigh 110 lbs and i ordered the XS size and they were perfect. They adjust on the straps to make them shorter or taller. I am so happy i shelled out the money and bought these because they made my life so much easier. With regular snow pants, i used to always get snow down by butt, with these that just does not happen. I learned to ski a few weeks ago and fell a few times and was never cold or wet and no snow snuck inside so my goals were met with these. They are slightly fitted so they actually are very cute pants! Lots of people complimented me on them- even men haha! I dont know why people wear regular snow pants when bibs are just so much more functional. They also zip down the back so you can go to the bathroom easily! I called them my chaps ;) As you can see- i had a blast wearing them in my pictures- i am sure you will too. ... show more

This is my second Burton bib and I am not disappointed! I love how they fit. They are very flattering and the color is quite unique on this one. The many pockets are super convenient and the side zippers make it easy to take on and off when going to the restroom. Size chart is a bit off, be prepared to exchange for size. By the size chart I should have one in extra large, but the medium fit best. Initial sizing issues aside, I love these bibs. The seat zippers are amazing, going to the restroom is so much easier in these than bibs I’ve had in the past. I did not have any trouble with the zippers falling as other reviewer‘s may have mentioned with the regular sizes. The cuffs are sufficiently wide for my snowboard boots, the zippers and lace hooks work great, and the material was fabulous. These bibs are cute enough to wear off the mountain, but are perfectly comfortable and water resistant for active snow sports. These are my third or fourth pair of snowboard pants or bibs, and these are my favorite so far. Really impressed with them. ... show more

I ended up returning the bibs. I was deciding between these bibs and a north face pair. I did not go with these because of fit. They were great just walking around and general moving - they were not tight. But the minute I would bend the zipper would work its way down over time and often the buttons would unsnap. I could not go up a size otherwise they would have been way too big. So I may have just been the bibs were not a great fit for me which is why I still give them 3 stars.
