Hatsan NeutronStar shooting slugs out to 300 yards and during hunting season double duty on my Remington 700 300 WSM. I have generally been a Leupold user but getting into the world of airguns. I started using Vortex and Hawke but found myself using their bargain basement lines. Parralex adjustment was on the objective which led to son fumbling and several missed opportunities especially on a elk hunt where the bell was so cold to turn it cost a shot. I started looking at Burris and their forevever warranty with no receipt or ownership was needed and that pulled me in. It was their incredible clear optics with everything set in a manner from side focus parralex to as low as 10 yards to infinity. Burris checked so many boxes I would have to go to premium Vortex - not the crossfire line - same with Hawke Vantage) that I would end up spending at least a hundred dollars more to match the optical clarity but I still didn’t depending on the model get side focus parralex let alone the E3 illuminated reticle with sub extensions that helped bring it all together for my purposes. I own the best of Leupold and Burris glass competes.That alone made me a buyer. When taking it out of the box even before mounting you know you have gotten a very special scope. It oozes quality and it’s low light gathering ability and clarity- you cannot know unless u buy one. ... show more

Great scope but the adjusting is quite difficult, it takes significant strength and effort to change zooms, I suppose it might loosen with time but it’s a hassle out the box. Needs a throw lever

    • Clear and great illumination adjustment
I like illuminated reticles for low light conditions. Some are too bright and are not usable very early or late, not so with this scope. The optics are clear and I couldn't as for more at this price...
