  • Great quality, easy to use
Our first bike trailer we have tried. Goes together and folds/transports very easy. My 4 and 2 year olds love it! Feels very stable and is easy to pull behind a bike. The large pneumatic tires and little suspension springs seem like they make a nice ride for the kids. Converts and pushes super easy as a “stroller” too, we use this around the neighborhood/parks and bring it camping The little back storage area is great at campgrounds or bringing a few things to the park! Also this model seems to have a much better view/window setup for the kids compared to other models we looked at. Some reviews said the back push handle (or roll bar when in bike mode) seemed loose, but I have no problems with it at all. It feels like a plastic sprocket that had a yellow plastic pinch lever to hold the bar in place. I guess if you apply very little force to it or don’t let the teeth mesh together it would be loose... but I can squeeze it tight then lift the entire trailer up (with my kids in it) and the bar doesn’t move/slide. Besides the price being expensive, I can’t think of anything I don’t like! ... show more

  • Best jogging stroller, best bike trailer. Best jogging stroller, best bike trailer.
I've owned this trailer for four months and I think it's the best jogging stroller or trailer on the market. I purchased it on a Labor Day sale for $600. Compared to the Thule, Bob, or Uppababy jogging strollers, it has better built-in wind and rain protection, and its wheels are bigger. In addition to being a top contender as the best jogging stroller, it's a bike trailer. To compare it to the Thule bike trailers – the Thules look nice, but they're considerably more expensive and I don't see the value proposition. We walk and jog with this trailer about 4 miles per day and then go for a ride most weekends for about 15 miles. I love the capabilities it gives us. I do wish the seat could recline even more so that our baby could lie flat, but she falls asleep almost every outing as it is, so the seat angle isn't too big a deal for us. However, because of this, it's not suitable for newborns. This trailer has given us the ability to take our baby (and dog) on the adventures that we love. 1 year update: Still going great and rolling very smoothly. We've used it at least 5 days a week for the past year, for 3 miles or more per day, and it's been fabulous. We had a wet winter, and the ability to quickly open or close the plastic windshield to keep our daughter completely dry was a big deal. ... show more

  • Making memories, love it
Size: 2 Seat Style: Current
I did a lot of research before we bought this so we knew what we were getting. One surprise, though, was that the back cover unzips so the screen can still be closed and the rain cover rolled up. Previous model reviews I'd seen complained of this, and I was expecting it to be an issue, but it was not - we were pleasantly surprised -- which was great because it's been in the 90's for weeks (with humidity in the 80-90%'s as well). It is light, very light, and rolls really well. I hardly notice I'm pulling it. The kids love it. I don't have any experience with rain, I've seen reviews that it isn't as water proof as some -- but that's not an issue for us. Where we live - you know if it's going to rain well in advance and we just don't go out on days like that. In part because when it storms here it's just flat dangerous. Tornados, hail, lots of lighting, that kind of stuff. Tons of room to pack stuff, too. The zippers all feel substantial, good quality, as does the material it is made of. Assembly was very easy. I don't know about folding it down and setting it back up - we store it ready to go. ... show more

  • Incredible Trailer and Stroller!
This product was easy to assemble and built very well. Quality materials mean it will last long. Easy to maneuver and handles are comfortable to grip. If you want to buy this for a child, it is one of the best built strollers we have seen! My husband dismantled the seating inside and uses it for long hikes in the desert and it holds a backpack, smaller cooler of ice and water, sunbrella, etc. Wheels on this are VERY sturdy and easy to maneuver! Pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Great product Great product
I debated buying this for a long time. The price is pretty steep but when compared to other cheaper trailers, I felt the money was well spent. This trailer is very well made. I have only used it as a bike trailer so far. Was very easy to assemble. I've read some reviews about the handlebar easily collapsing but I did not experience that whatsoever (and I tested it as soon as we assembled it). Rides very smooth and can easily be attached to any bike that has a quick release. My son had all the room in the world. We also plan to use it as a double stroller in the future. Would recommend to anyone who could afford it. ... show more

  • Awesome Trailer Awesome Trailer
Size: 2 Seat Style: Current
Cycling is my favorite activity, but I have not been able to get out on my bike much since having my first baby. I decided to invest in this trailer so that I can take him along on rides and get him some fresh air. I settled on this trailer after doing A LOT of research. Originally it was between this trailer and the Thule Chariot. Ended up going with this one as it had adjustable seats, suspension, and I could get the two-seater for less than the price of the single-seater from the Thule. The D-Lite X has been awesome! My baby loves coming on bike rides with me now, and I use this trailer almost every day to ride around our neighborhood. It is sturdy, roomy, and comfortable for baby. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great Product But Has Room For Improvement
A very nice bike trailer and works well as a stroller. Pros. Works great as a bike trailer. Pushes very easily as a stroller with the included wheel. It's fairly light for its size. Folds compactly for a double seater. Cons. A bit difficult to set up. Handle was to tight to latch into place Didn't meet my expectations for the price. Doesn't recline very far. Doesn't have a brake unless you get the jogging attachment Didn't meet my expectations for the price Bottom line: I don't regret our purchase but I'm not exactly thrilled. For the price it should be better. We upgraded from a $130 bike trailer/ stroller which worked well but definitely had some things to be desired which was understandable for the price. We decided to get a top of the line model and settled on the Burley dlite x. This is much better than our old one and seems to be built from good quality materials. However I expected more for the price. Our old cheap one actually had a brake on the rear wheels which I really miss on the Burley. We have had issues with the handle. Ours was so tight and got worse with use to the point we could not latch it. I disassembled the handle and was able to loosen it but now it randomly moves so I need to tighten it again and hopefully will be able to find a setting that will work. This doesn't make sense on something this expensive. Setting up isn't as easy as I would have hoped. Latching the latches in place is a bit hard. It reclines but not enough to really make sleeping comfortable as I was hoping. if you put too much weight in the back the front gets very light and can almost tip over backwards. It has nice padded seats and the children sleep well in it and for the most part other than the handle everything works well. There are some nifty features like how the wheel folds up out of the way for bike use and just folds down for stroller use as well as mesh cup holders for the children. The tounge in the front extends for biking and can be retracted further for use as a stroller. It pushes almost effortlessly as a stroller with its big wheels. However when I compare it to our old one is it $600 better? The answer is simply no. If it didn't have any of those cons I mentioned the answer would be Yes. ... show more

  • Logical, safe, and useful features
Size: 2 Seat Style: Current
Fantastic product. Attaches easily with the hitch (included). Currently being used for one grandchild, but second one will be hold enough two. Plenty of safety features. I purchased the (option) storage bag, too, which is useful when the trailer is folded.
