I have 2 cats. One is overweight with anxiety and one who doesn't do well in small spaces. This carrier is perfect for both of them! I don't have to worry like I did with plastic carriers that my overweight cat will bust the bottom out and my claustrophobic cat has room to turn around and take his own space. It's perfect for the anxiety as well because the padded bottom provides comfort while they're able to see that I'm still with them from all angles. The strap is long and comfortable for me and makes them feel less heavy as it takes the weight off my wrist and onto my shoulder. The only downfall is if your cats fight you to get into a carrier, it is easy for them to accidentally kick a side in while protesting their confinement, but it takes less than a second to push the side back out and get them in there.

I would use this small/medium size cats that are calm. It’s a beautiful product and made very well. My only issue, which is common sense I suppose is when you pick it up it makes the floor less sturdy for the cat because its like picking up a bag of groceries where the groceries all go to the middle of the bag. For a cat it is probably a little unnerving that the floor has gotten less sturdy. BUT, for a calm cat and the owner holding the bottom along with the handles makes it easier. I bought this mostly with the idea of easier storage to take up less space which it definitely takes up less space than a plastic carrier. I would recommend this purchase for a small/medium calm cat.

This was absolutely amazing, it's large enough to hold larger cats. You can tuck it away and fold it after it's not being used, making storage super easy to maintain. It has a nice plush bottom to keep your fur baby as content as possible, I highly recommend adding a nice small blanket over this for the winter when traveling.

I purchased this mainly from the reviews, because my cat weights 18 pounds, so I needed something to support her. Well, this did carry her, but the metal frame inside is kind of bendy after it's been used to lift her. I wasn't impressed with that. As it turns out, she peed in it so I needed to ditch it. I think next time I'll go with a hard carrier. But if I were to purchase another soft carrier for her, I would not rebuy this. Definitely better for an animal that weighs less than 15 pounds.
