My cat is only 15 pounds but is somewhat larger than the medium carrier rated up to 20 pounds. He still fits and has room to move around, plus the bottom holds up nicely so no worries. The padded bottom is a nice touch, keeps my kitty comfortable for the trip a head. He says "Yeah, I'm all about comfort, but I need something to dig my claws into!" The top load is the best. With the top load the cat can't see what's going on and before they know it "BAM" they are in the carrier and ready to go. All in all, nice carrier with plenty of breathing room. We love this cat carrier! We have three, one for each cat. It's easy to get them in and out and I love how it's mesh see through on all sides so they can see you and be more comfortable for rides to the vet. The strap is great too, very strong, to carry on your shoulder. Definitely recommend

The best feature of this carrier is that there are multiple ways in which to place your pet inside. While the quality of material and construction is generally good overall, one of the end zippers on mine does not work well at all and basically eliminates some of the functionality. I appreciate the side zipper pocket, the roominess, the removable pad, and even the rubber feet on the bottom. If there were a built-in option to cover one of the mesh ends, providing my cat with a better sense of security, this carrier would be almost perfect. ... show more

Very sturdy, lightweight and my cat has no problem being inside. He took a catnap while at vet. I got the large carrier and it’s very roomy. My cat loves this carrier. I put his stool sample bag in the carrier pocket. Very convenient!

Love this carrier. It is rigid enough to keep its shape without collapsing on the cat. But can be flattened by unzipping all the sides for storage. Bottom piece is a bit thin so added some extra padding for bony senior cat. Top loading is awesome. Wish I had bought one of these years ago.
