This is a neat little ice cube making set. I love that it has it's own storage bin and scoop, and that it comes with two trays. The trays feel sturdy and made with hefty plastic. They're small cubes, so you will have to stay on top of refilling them a lot if you like a lot of ice in your drinks. That part shouldn't be a problem, but one downside is that it takes forever for the water in the trays to freeze and make ice. The water is surrounded by so much thick plastic, it took many hours for the ice to form. I mean 20 hours or more. That might not be a big deal but it can be annoying if you host guests or have a family or roommates. The mechanism for getting the ice out of the trays doesn't work fully all the time, but this is a minor issue. The slow freezing and slight difficulty in getting the ice out of the trays are the reason why I gave this product 4/5 stars. ... show more

This has come in handy until I can get our freezer/fridge cleaned out to see what’s going on with cease of an ice maker besides the fact that people have said appliances only last 8 years now. This is a well mown fridge being used by 2 adults who are not rough housing it, but I’m thankful for this little ice tray set up as this is the third thing that’s gone wrong now. LOVE this ice try system. I like my water ice cold and always have an issue with not having enough ice on hand. Our freezer is small so having to find a place for multiple trays isn't easy. This completely solved the issue and could store a decent amount in a tight space. That being said, I was stupid. I put it in the dishwasher and the clear bin is hopelessly warped/melted. This is great for people whose workplace has a super ancient freezer and requires ice trays. If you have arthritis on your wrists or hands, get someone else to press down on that ice though, because it requires a full force to really get every single ice out of its tray.

Overall I really like this set! It fits nicely into my small freezer. It's just hard to get the cubes out but silly me, I didn't know what the pointy side was for until I read more reviews. But it is really perfect for me.
