I’m a real person with no benefit to this review. I never do reviews (that’s what they all say) I was honestly pretty skeptical, but this exceeded my expectations. Our mattress is at least 10 years old, and replacing it just isn’t in our budget right now (this economy, right?). It had developed large humps and uneven spots that made us roll into awkward positions while sleeping, and I had been waking up with back pain. I bought this bunkie board along with a mattress topper, but the bunkie board arrived a week earlier. I was shocked by how much of a difference it made on its own. It immediately made our mattress feel flatter and much firmer, and it completely eliminated the weird humps I had gotten used to sleeping on. I know this isn’t a permanent replacement for a new mattress, but it has been an incredible temporary solution that’s buying us more time until we can afford one. If you’re trying to extend the life of an older mattress, I definitely recommend giving this a try.

The HAOXIHAO Bunkie Board was easy to set up and feels very sturdy and supportive under the mattress. It helped improve comfort and provides great support without adding extra height to the bed. There were so many bunkie boards to choose from. I decided on this one for two reasons. First the price. Second, was I liked how it folded out perpendicular to the bed slats. In my mind it makes sense that would give the best support. First, there is no bad smell upon opening. Was simple to install. The mattress just slides right into place. There is no movement of the board once the mattress is in place. I’ve slept on it two nights and I do think there is a bit more support. I need a new mattress and after researching I discovered the existing bed slats are too far apart to what is recommended for new mattresses. Not having that or a solid bunkie board will void the mattress warranty. So, I bought this in preparation for a new mattress and hopefully extend its life but it does add support to my old mattress in the meantime.

This probably would have done the trick, but I am an unhappy camper. The overall product would be fine . . . the material, etc. I am unhappy about the size. I specifically measured my bed 3 times and was careful to make sure the description was 60"x80". It is not! Length is perfect, width (even stretched out to the seams) is 58" I WANT MY 2"!!! I ordered this to coordinate with my new mattress delivery. Shipping was expeditious, however, I won't return as I would like to sleep on the new bed rather than have my mattress sit against the wall in the hall. I would like to say buyer be aware, but aware of what? Description is incorrect. Returning is not an option as I want to sleep on my new bed.

Easy install and excellent mattress support. Fits perfectly under a queen pillow-top mattress. Maintains the mattress completely quiet and prevents it from slipping. Extremely strong for being lightweight, keeping the mattress flat and firm without sinking. The installation is extremely easy: unpack and unfold, then place one section towards the headboard and the other towards the footboard.
