I've used this indoors with foam practice balls & it's a good feeling of some resistance for practice. I had a golf shoe sitting on it for a bit & it took a long time for the mat to get back to it's shape. Other than that it's something I will continue to use. It's definitely not flimsy, & seems very solid.

This is a practice mat. I am under no illusion that it will feel exactly like sand. That is because it isn't sand. I am also not standing in sand. No sand involved. What it DOES do, is allow you to utilize and practice the same swing that you use in the sand. Unless you steal your kids sandbox, I don't know how else you are going to do this. What if you don't even have kids? What if they don't have a sandbox? I think this is a valuable tool. Worth it if you want to practice your sand swing.

This HamRoRung Bunker Practice Mat,Golf Bunker Mat is really a nice practice mat. It's not the same as a real bunker but very close and you can practice that swing. I was surprised that you don't get any movement while using this. It's built well and has a lot of stainless steel so should last long term. It seems a bit pricey but I believe it's worth it.

This Bunker Mate is a great tool to consistently improve my sand shots in golf. The Bunker Mate has two types of bristles that mimic the duality of soft and packed sand found on a real course. The longer bristles feel like soft sand, providing a realistic experience. With this tool, I've been able to improve my sand shots significantly in a short time. I can even see the increase in ball spin speed as I work on getting under the ball before impact. I'm also impressed with the durability of the practice pad. I haven't experienced any significant loss of bristles, and it remains stable even when I hit deeper shots. It's easy to set up and put away whenever I want to work on other aspects of my game.
