  • Great value for size of print bed
Works well. Love being able to print large sizes. Using multilateral for supports is also great. Printed several large objects maximizing build volume, only minor issues like warping, due to cold ambient temp and lack of enclosure. I think it will always be good to have one of these large printers around. ... show more

  • Do your research before buying this kind
Long rant I’ve worked on this trying to fix it more than I’ve printed projects on it. It seems to jame and clog fairly easy when you print using the fast option. Why is it a fast option if it doesn’t work properly. Randomly it just defaults to random settings making it impossible to print properly between it not working. Don’t even bother emailing support or putting in a ticket because you’ll never hear back. This printer and company are poorly made and it’s an expensive waste (claims to be cheaper option compared to other) $600-$800+ for it not to work. Please do your research before buying from Anycubic or a Kobra type printer. ... show more

  • Avoid the AnyCubic Kobra 3 Max
I purchased the AnyCubic Kobra 3 Max in April, and since then it has already gone through four print heads and a printing plate that ended up completely gouged. AnyCubic only provides support for the print head for three months, so they are no longer assisting me with these ongoing issues. The Kobra 3 Max clogs regularly, and the only solution has been replacing the print head—yet each new one lasts barely a month before the problem returns. Meanwhile, my other non-AnyCubic printers, operating in the same room under identical conditions, continue to run without issue. Reading the glowing five-star reviews, I can’t help but feel I didn’t receive the same printer others describe. Mine has been down for months since April, often waiting on replacement parts from AnyCubic. At one point, it took three weeks to receive a part, even after they told me it was being prioritized. The only positive aspect of this setup is that the ACE unit includes a built-in filament dryer, which has been useful. ... show more

  • To patient and learn how to run the machine
The Anycubic Kobra 3 Max is a good printer. Yes there is a learning curve to be able to print a top quality file. I own both the little one and the big one, both work great. You just have to learn how to set the printer up and run it. Most of the failed prints are due to dirty beds. You need to clean it after a few prints but I clean mine every time I touch the bed to remove the finished product. ... show more

  • Lots and lots of errors
I would not purchase this again and am working on a return. Technically it prints, but only with error after error after error. It can't even print Benchy (that little boat that other printers can do in 15-20 minutes.) Other issues with the software include that it can't find the printer on the LAN. My PC is physically plugged into the router and I've confirmed the IP on the printer. If you get the camera, they'll send you half of it - a circuit board with a lens. You'll need to create a case for it. If you opt for 8 colors, you'll need to print your own head, which they tell you to use at your own risk. ... show more
