Hi Temp Bumper Plate Material: Crumb rubber Insert: Fitted Stainless Steel Insert Diameter: 2 inches Bumper Plate Diamter: 17.5 inches Color: Black High Bounce Bumper Plates are built from a resilient recycled vulcanized rubber and featuring a 2" stainless steel insert. These plates feature a crumb design. Withstanding repeated drops with minimal noise and exceptional durability. Bouncy rubber plates allow you to drop a fully loaded barbell without damaging your equipment or floor. Low Noise Bumpers are far quieter when they’re dropped on the floor than the other types of plates, because they’re wrapped in rubber. They’re also usually used with rubber matting, which helps to deaden sound and protect the floor at the same time. Floor Protection The thicker width of bumper plates coupled with the flat surfaces on the plates helps to protect your floor. By spreading the weight across a larger surface area there’s less pressure through one particular spot when the weights are dropped.

Decent price for excellent quality! I ordered the 190 # set and just a fair warning they ship the 45’s separately. I contacted the seller regarding this because I didn’t realize they ship separately I thought they forgot. And they were quick in replying and reassured me that the second half of my order was on the way with tracking included. Also when you unbox them they do smell like rubber. I bought the set of plates that included the 10, 15’s, 25’s, 35’s, and 45’s. Shortly after purchasing the set I received a message stating that there was an accident during shipping. There was a mix up in the warehouse and instead of the shipping the 15lb plates with the set, an additional 45lb plate was shipped instead. The seller was very adamant about fixing the mistake, and told me they would send me the 15lb set I was missing, and an additional 45lb to make an even set of 4. Well lo and behold, not only did I get the plates he mentioned, but also another set of 10’s and 25’s - all on the house! I cannot recommend this company enough. The plates are quality built, sturdy, fits smoothly on the bar, and very aesthetic. Do yourself a favor, buy these plates!! ... show more

this is a good set and you save money by not going with the higher priced plates from the "R" company but you have to be careful with the 10lb plates because by them selves, they bend slightly and could break due to their construction. These bumpers have held up being dropped on olympics lifts. The speckled color coated design makes them look real professional. When it comes to the 45’s their size is on the thicker side. They do not bounce super high but enough to suppress the shock. The smell faded within days of opening them. Weight is spot on to what they are labeled and slide on true to size of bar. The media could not be loaded. Researched for weeks on these plates. In combination with the reviews and the value for your money, I decided to purchase. Very happy I did! No odd smell.
