I bought two of the 45 lb plates and was really disappointed. The metal ring in the center came loose after just a few uses, making the plate wobble and difficult (if not dangerous) to use on a barbell. For something that’s supposed to handle heavy lifting, this is unacceptable. Would not recommend. ****I was able to push the ring back into place but very skeptical. Photos don't show issue. The center in which the barbell is supposed to go through is NOT 2”: it is 1.75”. I fought for over a month with the seller about the issue and they would not authorize a return, a refund. I had to file an A-Z claim with Amazon. I spent so much time and energy doing this. BUYER BEWARE.

    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Great Plates for the Price — But Strong Chemical Smell at First
ordered the HANDBODE Rubber Weight Plates for my home gym, and overall I’m really happy with the quality. The plates are solid, well-made, and fit perfectly on my 2-inch Olympic bar. The colors look great and make it easy to identify the weights quickly during workouts. My only issue was the strong chemical/rubber smell when they first arrived. It was noticeable enough that I had to leave the plates in a well-ventilated area for about three days before bringing them into my gym. After airing them out, the smell faded significantly and they’ve been perfect since. If you’re looking for affordable, durable bumper plates and don’t mind airing them out for a few days, these are a great buy! ... show more

These are high quality weights at a great price. They are very rubbery and if you drop them on the floor I don't think anything will get damaged. I did not notice any off-putting smells, on the other hand they are out in my garage in the gym I built in there so I wouldn't care anyway. As a matter of fact, if you're not a bit smelly yourself during your workout you have failed. Remember, if it jiggles it's fat. LOL ... show more
