As a teacher, it is hard to pay for high quality devices and materials. A couple years ago, I couldn't even find anything similar to these that weren't over $150. These serve their purpose. You likely don't want to give a bunch of teenagers some high dollar device because they'll likely break them anyway. I was disappointed, however, to see that a few of these were not working out of the box and many stopped working within a month. So far, they have met my needs and served their purpose. You can't pay 50 cent for a pair of earbuds and expect them to last forever. These will get me through the school year. And I'll purchase more next year. ... show more

I bought these for students in my class to use on instructional videos and they work well for what I paid. They break fairly easily, but my students that are careful with them have been using the same pair for 6 weeks of school now.

These ear buds perform exactly as you should expect 70 cent earbuds to perform, if not better. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I counted them (we're selling them in our school store) and there were 2 empty bags and only 98 earbuds.
