I use diatomaceous earth around the crawl space adjacent to my basement and in the topsoil in planters as a safe way to deter creepy crawlers. This is a convenient way to apply it as a fine dust. It includes a funnel and scoop for loading but the clumping nature of the material makes it a little hard to fill. I use a chopstick to loosen the powder in the funnel. The price seemed a bit high for what essentially amounts to a rubber ball and a brass tube. But the unit is very sturdy and closes air tight and secure so I would say the price is fair. I'm sure this will last forever.

I purchased it to spray product in areas where small insects could be crawling into the house. Once the container is filled with powder it works relatively well. However refilling it is somewhat messy. Nonetheless, it does the job.

I bought this as an applicator for Tempo, the powder we used to stop a yellow jacket infestation in the siding of my home. It is a sturdy product and the long wand is a necessity for getting the powder deeply into the crevices where the yellow jackets had nested.

I have been using a company for years to treat my 3 story home and when I saw this product I had to try it. I was not disappointed, it’s a little messy to fill the bulb but it works great. After a month of use in the areas that I treated there are dead bugs everywhere.

I liked getting a light coat of Diatomaceous earth right where it needed to go like under the cucumber leaves where bugs lurked. No waste. Easy to load. Price is right Sturdy Glad I quit throwing the stuff at the plants.

I returned first one for same problem…the brass extension rod does not completely screw into its base. This second one has the exact same issue. Sold and shipped by Amazon, so no one to contact about this. I haven’t tried to use it, I’m assuming it will still work despite not screwing in completely. I will probably keep this rather than hunt for something different, but would recommend folks look elsewhere.
