It fits standard light fixtures. It doesn't make the loud zapping sound. The light is not too bright but it is the right amount of light at night time. I noticed dead bugs on the ground after usage.

I love the idea of the 3 modes for this light + bug zapper. Perfect for my needs. Lots of little flying bugs on my patio. Used this lamp for 3 days, it zapped one bug that I could find. Yet 7 inches about the lamp on the ceiling about the light are dozens of bugs landed or flying around. They don't seem to be attracted to this light zapper at all, whether the LED lamp is on or not. The price was right to try but the bug zapper is very ineffective thus far.

What? A light bulb that zaps mosquitoes? It must be effective because I haven't seen any since purchasing and using it. Summer's on its way. I am hoping my dog and I will continue enjoying our now mosquito free patio area. Also I am planning on purchasing one for the garage. The light reflected is "daylight". Which is perfect for the front outside and the inside garage. Nothing additional is needed. You just screw it in like a 💡

It’s a nice bright light for your porch with different levels of brightness, but it does not help with the bugs. I’m killing so many bugs with my portable swatter that are getting in the house because the light does nothing to keep them away or kill them when they get near it. I would not waste your money on getting something that is not actively killing most of the bugs coming near the light, but it has a good light. Doesn't really do a great job. I see small little flies so it doesn't seem to get the mosquitos just the little nats. 2 light options in which case are good brightness to them, and the option to only have the purple light on, which is nice.

If you put this by your front door on the outside, be prepared for an onslaught of unwanted attention from the insect world. If your aim is to kill bugs, don't put it near an entrance to your house... as we discovered last night. Make no mistake, it works... but it would be better to put it on the inside of your home so as to get the occasional stray flying insect that happens to sneak past you while you are coming through either door of your home. Also, if you do put it outside and you have an enclosed lamp surrounded by glass or what have you, that too isa bad idea, because the insects will not have easy access to the light that attracts them and will simply fly around the glass that encompasses your bulb. A bug lamp is good if it is nowhere near your entrance way. The light at the bottom of the lamp overall, is good for lighting a darkened area, but it's field of light projection is limited due to how its designed. The bug zapper portion of this unit is tiny, but effective.

Well in the great State of Michigan we often joke that the State Bird are mosquitos! So even though it is not summer they are already out in full strength. I purchased this bulb because the night before I could hardly get out to the deck for the large swarms already. This light bulb has great reviews and ratings. It arrived the next day and I was immediately impressed how fast it worked at dusk and into the evening. No bugs or mosquitos. Have not heard any zapping noises, so not annoying, like the adjustable light feature . easy to install just remove old build and twist in new bug bulb! Will be purchasing several more

I have had this type of bulb at my old home and these seem to be helpful too. Good LED light and help with mosquito control. They have worked for me in the past and seem to be a help with mosquito control and we need all the help we can get.
