Really wanted to like this pillow, concept is good. It does stay cool all night, unless you plan to lay your head on it. Pillow feels soft and cool for about two minutes. Then it warms up to the point that it is warmer than a pillow without cooling properties. Also you can feel your head sinking down and the pillow no longer feels soft and does not have the lift I want to give me support. The odor was not a problem and I could use the pillow the first night. I did remove a plastic shopping bag worth of filling which helped make it a little softer after it sunk from the weight of your head.

This is a standard-size pillow from Buffy — a cooling memory foam pillow with adjustable filling — and honestly, it’s amazing. One of the little things I loved right away is that it comes with a small Ziploc-style bag for any extra filling. That might seem minor, but it’s actually such a thoughtful touch. If you don’t use all the filling right away, you don’t have to throw it away, and you can save it for later if you want the pillow a little firmer in the future. It’s a small detail that shows the company really thought about the user experience, and I appreciate that. The pillow comes compressed and rolled up, so you need to let it expand a bit. I pulled out some of the filling initially, but over a day or two it continued to fluff up on its own, which is exactly what you want from an adjustable memory foam pillow. The feel is incredible — firm but cushiony, almost cloud-like without being too soft or mushy. It’s also cooling, which is a huge bonus if you tend to sleep hot. The foam doesn’t trap heat the way some memory foam pillows can, and it keeps a nice comfortable temperature through the night. Overall, this is a very high-quality pillow. It feels luxurious, supportive, and well-made. I highly recommend putting a protective pillowcase and then an extra cover on top to keep it clean and in great condition — it’s really that nice. I’m so impressed that I’m planning to buy more of these pillows for other beds in the house. Usage Tips: Perfect for side, back, or combination sleepers. There is not enough stuffing. It gets flat after sleeping on it. I enjoyed it in the beginning, but when i woke up it was a lot flatter. Otherwise - noce and soft pillow. There is a usual memory foam smell but it will air out. There shouls have been some extra stuffing provided. Not worth 60 bucks for sure.

For $100 (the price at time of order), I thought this would finally be "the" pillow, but instead it was just money down the drain. It arrived vacuum sealed and rolled up, and upon opening it took several hours to even flatten out. There was no documentation provided, but I know it can take up to 48 hours for memory foam to fluff itself up to size. Not so - this took over a week, and once it was finally fully "inflated" after being vacuum sealed, it is so thick that there is no way I could sleep on it. The photos show it at full volume for side-sleeping, and without removing the majority of the foam, my neck was at a very unnatural angle both on my side and on my back. The tiny plastic-zipper pouch included didn't hold half of what I took out. It was also impossible to distribute the foam inside evenly, and the pillow retained the weird shape no matter what I tried. I eventually just grabbed a trash bag to put the foam in, but never got the thickness and shape to a suitable level. The other issue is that the cooling effect is only on one side, but there is zero indication of which side that is, they look nearly identical and both feel cool to the touch initially. I never did discover which side was up as I couldn't sleep with this pillow at all. Because I was unable to use it, I can't comment on the washability of the cover, durability, etc. as claimed by the listing, but I can warn you to keep on looking unless you like a pillow that is 8" thick and lumpy.
