This polisher makes quick work of polishing your car. I had minor swirling and light scratches here and there. This polisher takes most of the elbow grease out of the work. The kit comes with everything you need to get started. Just add polish! The lower speeds are plenty for my application. Note that this is not a DA (dual action) polisher which is meant to reduce heat/friction on your paint. This just spins. So, more care is needed when using to make sure you're not overdoing it. If I had a criticism, it would be the noise. It is a bit louder than I expected. In all, this tool works well and includes everything you need at a pretty decent price. I'd say it's a good value.

I picked this up for detailing my car and it ended up working even better than I expected. It has a strong, powerful motor and really makes polishing and waxing much easier compared to doing it by hand. This buffer polisher definitely means business. The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was the weight. It is heavier than I expected, so if you are planning a long detailing session, your arms are probably going to get their own workout too. That said, the extra weight also made it feel sturdy and powerful instead of flimsy or cheap. Once I actually started using it on my car, I was impressed with how well it performed. It did a fantastic job cleaning up the paint and bringing back a nice shine. The variable speed settings were helpful because I could adjust depending on what part of the car I was working on. It handled waxing and polishing smoothly, and I noticed a visible improvement pretty quickly. I also liked the detachable handle option because it gave me a little more control depending on the angle I was working at. The motor feels strong and consistent, and it never seemed like it was struggling while in use. The only real downside for me is the weight. After using it for a while, you definitely feel it. If you are used to lightweight tools, this one may take some getting used to. Still, for the results it delivered, I think the tradeoff was worth it. Overall, this buffer did a great job making my car look clean and polished again. Solid performance, strong motor, and great results, just be prepared for a little arm day at the same time.

I’ve used a few cheaper polishers before that struggled once any pressure was applied, but this OFISPEED rotary actually has enough power to handle heavier polishing work without bogging down. I used it on an older SUV with noticeable swirl marks and oxidation, and paired with a cutting compound it made a huge difference after just a couple passes. The variable speed dial is easy to control, especially when switching between compounding, polishing, and finishing stages. The detachable handles are also helpful because you can change the grip depending on the panel you’re working on. It is a little heavier than entry level polishers, but honestly that added weight helps keep the machine planted during use. The included backing plate felt solid and the machine stayed surprisingly smooth even at higher RPMs. For the price, this feels much more capable than the typical budget buffer and works well for both beginners and more serious detailing work.

I found this tool to have the features needed for a good polish and wax job. The variable speeds work well and the appropriate dial indicators help select the speed you need. The lock on button worked as designed. Two handles are provided and did fit the tool well. As with most tools with carbon brushes, I found the noise level initially to be load and raspy. I would expect this to smooth out somewhat as the brushes wear. The included instructions are well written with just a few wording issues. All the supplied pads seem to be acceptable quality. This is not a random orbit tool. My only concern is a noticeable run out vibration that I found to be coming from both of the six inch and seven inch wheels and not the tool itself. I would consider this item to be an entry level tool and a good value for the DIYer.
