I just got (2) of these soft shackles so they have not been tested yet. However, they appear to be very well made and are rated at a higher strength than some others of the same size. They are so much easier to put on and take off than the "D" shackles and you can just use your hitch pin if you want. For the weight savings and increased safety, these are a must have.

This soft shackle is fantastic to use for those painted tow hooks you don't want to damage. The the soft shackle is easy to remove after pull a heavy load. It is also useful for securing a vehicle to a trailer for towing.

Works well, has no issue shackling my unlimited with steel recovery gear, 12K wench and 35's. In a word, it's Strong. As a consumer I like it when I purchase something that doesn't make me feel like I entered into a contract with Satan. Good purchase though what came first. The product name or the Nascar scandal?
